Make rotation movement of icons more smoothly

I found the icons rotation movement quite sturdy/shocking. Is it possible to make the rotation more smoothly?

(like smoothwheel extension for Firefox to have smooth movement of scrolling)

Simply increase the number of key-presses/mouse-wheel-indents on the General->Rotation settings tab.
