A gui for Saving and restoring existing Windows shares would be awesome, especially if the application would zip up the contents of the share(s), as a selective option based on the available shares.
Microsoft has method of doing the first part (backing up/restore shares) as reg edits.
LinkyThe app should be able to back up shares and files (permissions and users would be appreciated) based on selection as a self extracting executable so that restoring should be simple.
I am sure others would have more desires and suggestions as to how this may be done or achieved.
