Lot's of web pages have a '
Print Version' of the page you're reading that typically will have a cleaner lay out, offer less or no advertising, and will concatenate multiple page articles into one page.
These '
Print Versions' of a web page are often much nicer to read or browse then the actual web page, but the link can be buried in the page, and you may have to manually suppress a pop-up print dialog.
I propose a plug-in offered as a tool bar button that would attempt to parse a web page for the print version of the page, open in the same window and suppress any print output or configuration dialogs. Perhaps the plug-in/button could be toggleable so it would be the
attempted default browse mode when the button was left depressed or locked.
