It's terrific!  Many thanks for adding the additional features.

BTW, are the column widths supposed to be settable and sticky?  I see the width info in the ini file, but the columns seem to open as something different.

I've been using 1.2.1 without any problem on Windows 7 32 bit. Seems like any version after that if I try to Add To PlayTime using the context menu or even drag and drop onto an open PlayTime Window, the entry never appears and I get the spinning circle mouse cursor. Only way to get rid of busy cursor is to kill PlayTime from the task manager.

1.2.1 does what I need fine. Just thought I'd let you know since I just tried the new Feb release. I even tried last Ansi only version 1.2.2 and got the same thing. Seems like it likes 1.2.1 and nothing later.

Thanks, MilesAhead.  This is due to compiling it with the AHK_L build for Unicode.  I'll take out the shell extension portion in the next build.

-I didn't think to test the context menu before reading the two previous posts. Mine is not working either! The reason I didn't test it before was, that I always use Send To > PlayTime, and it works.

should it make any difference on a 64-bits Win 7 if PlayTime is placed in Program Files or in Program Files (x86) ?

Nope, it's just a location, PF/PFx86 has no extra special meaning, other than being more protected from modification by access rights, so you can't (shouldn't) store user-stuff there.

Ath is correct.  So, if you run the default UAC settings on your computer, PlayTime is not going to be able to save any settings to its local config.ini file.

I always move such stand-alone program's folder from Downloads to PF(x86), and it will automatically be marked with the "ownership"-symbol. Anyway, I don't have UAC related problems.

Small portable apps I stick under a folder I made directly under the OS drive. That way if I do a Custom Install they don't get wrapped up into Windows.old.  They are still there to use with the new OS. I only have to make shortcuts. Works very well with apps that don't make registry changes.

But I disable UAC anyway.

@skwire .. congrats on PlayTime being posted on SnapFiles. I just wrote a review with all categories maxed. Hopefully it will pass moderation to be posted in a couple of days. :) Even though Windows Seven has some of the features in Explorer for total times and sizes, I still use PlayTime.  Right clicking on a folder full of media files really makes it. :)

v1.3.6 - 2013-05-06
    * Changed it so that all timestamps in the list are in hh:mm:ss format.
This is to get around some silly Excel auto-formatting issues when
importing an exported CSV file into Excel and having Excel think that
mm:ss timestamps are hh:mm:00 format.  (Thanks, P. Loshuk)
! The selected time field wasn't cleared when clearing the list.

Hi everybody,
many thanks for this software.
I begin to used it, and it could be very useful ... if it was possible to change the separator in the csv file.
Why ? simply because I have in my car, an usb key with a very long list of audio files, and some of them have a comma in their name: so, some confusion occurs with the separator when I import the csv file in Excel.
Could it be possible ?
Best regards, and apologies if my english is not very good.

In those cases the names/titles with a comma (aka the separator character) should be quoted (") and Excel (or any csv import) will handle it properly.

the names/titles with a comma should be quoted (")

-which is why it is a wrong procedure. He just told that the list is very long, and now he is being told to edit it!

Is it possible to "replace all commas with something else"?
