IDEA: personal library of books database
« on: February 27, 2009, 02:36 PM »
How about a program that allows me to keep track of my personal library of books? Ideally it would allow me to load a file of ISBN numbers and look up the title, author, and publishing date from somewhere like amazon.com. The GUI interface would allow me to search for specific books in various ways.

You could get some good lookups from the aNobii (related to the Latin word for bookworm) site here:

Is a great site for bookworms.
