+1 .. I don't understand the whole thing, but Google remembers what you've searched for and what you've liked on the list, and will manipulate *your* search results based on that history.

Try clearing your cache and restarting your browser, no?

oh nos! No way I'm clearing my FF cache, haven't done it since I upgraded to FF3. I find the inline history search really useful (47000+ entries and it's still very responsive )
A ctrl+F5 gets me the same result, FWIW. [search]

I often get weird and insistent (you know, when it insists you've made a spelling error) results with over-rated Google Search. I ran the same search with AlltheWeb and got 18,200,000 hits.      I'm in the U.S.

My bad - it doesn't. And clearing it sorted out the problem.
