Is there any single software to unlock different iphones?

Hi all, I've been thinking whenever a phone company launches a product they usually don’t specify about their products. I have recently bought a iphone, so would like to inquire is there any software for unlocking iPhone .

I think the software it's called Jailbreak, with it you can unlock your Iphone and run third party apps however i read somewhere that it can void your warranty so be careful if you are not familiar with unlocking phones. I hope that helps.
