I am trying it now and it looks pretty good. It has some good reviews too.

Hey Bro!

Never heard of this program but am tryin' now.
PC Tools AV spotted a problem at installation: "sequence: packed molebox", whatever that means.
I put it on quarantine and the program seems to be doing fine with plenty of options to discover.

Thanks!

I just Googled "Packed Molebox" and it looks like it is okay.

From PC Tools on wilderssecurity.com
That was a packer detection. It's quiet unusual for legit software to use Molebox packer for it's "protection"... It's simply begging to be detected as false positive...

Photo POS is a very nice intermediate image editor.
But would you not think, that they really should think about re-naming "POS" to a less ambiguous term?

I took advantage of this (I'm a software junkie, afterall  :-[) and noticed that one of the two exes that run when you invoke it is PosGlblInfo2.exe, which receives ratings from online databases that range from benign and trusted to a trojan. I only noticed when looking at Task Manager - I've scanned the file, the folder and my computer and Sophos (via Webroot Antivirus) reports that all is well.

For now, I'm leaving it alone but I'm wary of it, so am monitoring my system carefully.

Darwin,

These AV programs make me go... i won't tell you where but the other day i had Kaspersky on for trial and it identified Postsmile and EssentialPIM programs as slightly to more dangerous do have and nothing about this "paws" one.  :P
PCTools and ESET never identified these but did identify another. So? Which program should i trust?

I hear you, Dan (even if you won't tell me!). What a waste of time...  :o Computers are supposed to have enabled us and made life simpler and more convenient and yet I spend an obscene amout of time worrying about security and tweaking my system  >:(

Hi people!

I have a problem: I followed all your instructions, but in the mail doesn't appear the Key Id  , so when I try to activate the program it doesn't work.

Here is a cap of the mail:

Hi aoyase, that looks like a support issue to me! I'd write to the developer and explain what happened.

I'm not sure that it's a good idea to post a screen shot of your serial code, even if it is worthless without the Key ID.

:o Doh! Hadn't noticed that possible interpretation of what I wrote! aoyase, if you haven't done so already, you should hit reply to the e-mail  you posted the screenshot of and write a note to the developer referring him or her to the Reference ID section of the note you're replying to and asking for help  :)
