next release suggestion: docklet support
« on: October 16, 2008, 09:34 AM »
docklet trick... objectdock + circle dock
in this suggestion for a next realease, simple clock docklet and av3 player

As CircleDock it does not have support for Docklets, then I use the two programs at the same time. I configured both so that it creates an illusion of that he is only a aplication one. Today I am showing WinampDocklet with YzDock. The difference is that in such a way it is possible to interact with msn, different of av3player with objectdock. If I knew, I would try to make a program that supported docklets. But I am not so good thus… Congratulations for the great work.

Hello,
I believe someone has posted that they are working on a standalone version of the Object Dock docklets that we could use for Circle Dock.

That clock in the center is a real winner, that's for sure.  As far as dockets, they'd have to be 'snappy' for them to be usable.  I'm using the stack docket in Circle Dock, but it feels like you're launching another application when you use it (which you sort of are...)

about standalone stack in circledock, I agree to you, this delay very to launch it, but I try to correct this activating prefetch of windows and disactivating memory saver in the options of circledock. I think that in the memory saver mode it delays more to be launched (+lags).

Digital Clock - ObjectDocks.
Another suggestion of docklet for circle dock.
I think that Eric Wong would have to give one looked in this…
This is called DotNetDocklets. One docklet created with .Net language.
I found it here,

http://www.templier....-sdk-for-objectdock/

and here.

That's cool that they wrote a .NET SDK for docklet development. I just wonder if anyone has created a .NET program that can host the docklets so that it can be used with other programs without having to reverse engineer ObjectDock?
