quitting PC version of Assassin's Creed

i wonder this has been posted before.. but watching this video was quite a laugh, though not for the actual gamer. Ubisoft needs to really get a UI team that specializes in PC games.

alt-f4 does the trick but that is a bit beside the point really ;).

exactly, the video is to show how the game leads the gamers on a merry-go-round. ;)

PC version also happens to be amazingly unstable... heck, I've heard that even the xbox360 version crashes every now and then.

And the game moved as slow as molasses in winter in the PS3... those Ubisoft guys really nailed it with the game. And to think the same team made Prince of Persia: Sands of Time...

OMG... I have played games like that. Some menus even take you back to the menu you came from, so it becomes a freaking maze of buttons to find your way out. ;D

And FYI, games like Driver: Parallel Lines disable the Alt-Tab and Alt-F4 keys, and if you open Task Manager, the game steals focus. Un-f**king believable. Sucks if the game freezes. >:(

I really enjoyed it on the 360 . . . getting out is a lot easier, there. Generally because getting out doesn't rely on the game letting me go (as aforementioned, alt+f4 PC users!).

That's got to be the most ridiculous, convoluted exist routine ever . . . obviously quitting was (and just barely, at that) an afterthought.
