[request] a GUI for DropMyRights
« on: March 16, 2008, 06:39 AM »
DropMyRights from Microsoft will be known to most techsavvy people here.
If you don't know it, it is a little program which you can use to temporarily drop admin priviliges for a certain program. It's a good app for safe surfing if you use it with your browser. Because malware needs admin rights to install on your computer.

Though it is a good security app not many people use it. In my opinion it could need a user friendly GUI so you can use it without any technical knowledge. Once installed, you should be able to just click on the Dropmyrights icon on your desktop and choose   your browser (or emailprogram or mediaplayer, whatever) from the menu.
