Spotted this earlier with the help of Website Watcher :-*

Pretty nice, now there's even less reason to use any other burning app for me. I just hope ImgBurn will never go down the road of useless feature bloat. Definitely not saying that audio-cd and mp3 support is feature bloat, though, even if some people might feel that the app should only be able to, well, burn image files :]

I think there is no "Support for multi-session" CDs right now.(***)

Changel log 2.4.0.0 says "Added: Support for multi-session/track CD reading/burning (*using a CUE file "

See the forum "Multisession Disk, Where is the option??" too.

I had also found this thread *
ImgBurn can't start/continue a multisession disc in Build mode, although it can read and write multisession discs in Read and Write modes smile.gif
-http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=6576&hl=multisession
which I had misread as ImgBurn can.... which left me very confused :)

I'm always amazed how little interest there is in multi-session burning
maybe it's only when one starts working [at home] with bigger files (and doing half-hourly or so backups) that it seems attractive ??

Keep thinking about going online backup but slow to change...

* edit/ * boy, do they have some NSFW avatars over there ...

tomos: I personally lost interest in multi-session burning long time ago. It's unsuitable for smaller files because lead-in/out takes space, I always found it slowed down reading somewhat (and not working with all drives, but that was of course "back then"), and well... backups on optical media? Nah. Raid-mirror LAN file server, and if you need safekeeping on a different physical location, external USB/FireWire/eSata harddisk.

maybe off-topic... but I couldn't agree more. I stay faaaarrrrr from optical media (DVDs, mostly) when it comes to backup. I'll archive stuff, certainly, but will then make sure that I have 2-3 copies, just in case. DVDs are for movies and Vista! CDs are for music and... Windows XP! :P
