Today must be my day for senior moments.   :-[

Perry, I checked my default email client and it was set to Outlook.  I changed it and it works like a champ!

Not necessarily...

Today Windows Firewall turned itself on all by itself (I've used ZoneAlarm for years)

  Glad it's all fixed!

You might want to mention the "big brother" of Maxview, which is also donationware, and offers more functionality. It might need a second or two longer at startup,  but....
It is a must, especially two compare images.

FastStone Image Viewer from the same website.

I cannot share the excited feelings about MaxView, because neither the installed or the portable version would save settings on my XP. So MaxView too has left the building.

I am though very pleased with FastStone Capture 6.0 (just updated).
