How good is this deal?

i've been asked for comments regarding this promotion for a friend looking to host his website. i'm all ok on the free life-time domain and 300GB disk space but other that, it seems pretty standard. i was thinking of asking my friend to go ahead when an idea popped up, hence this post. so, any comments?

Presumably the domain hosting would only last as long as the web hosting?  I find it nice to keep them separate anyway - I use namecheap for hosting. 

For hosting, Site5 has a good deal at the moment, and I've always got on ok with them, but my sites are very low traffic.

I think webhostingtalk is the place to check out hosting companies and compare deals.  Good luck to your friend!
