IDEA: Firefox Addon to monitor/remove Untitled Tab
« on: October 19, 2007, 01:11 PM »
99% of the time i have links, searches, etc auto-open in a new tab, I find it really annoying that i have to repeatedly manually close the Untitled tab to save on screen space.
I use Tab Browser Preferences and ideally it should detect a spare tab and use it.

What is necessary is when a new tab is added then a check for existence of an untitled tab would delete it

Not seeing any solution with a sendkeys type script, I'm toying with the idea of writing an addon myself but it's time ...
