I read the feed from Damn Interesting and yesterday saw this post about natural nuclear reactors. It is a classic article, which means it's not a brand-new discovery.

I had heard about this phenomenon before so I was intrigued.  I mean, the reactor must have been extremely old, yet

the uranium isotope levels had an uncanny resemblance to those in spent nuclear fuel from modern nuclear power plants. The evidence was strong enough to suggest a natural reactor, and further exploration confirmed it.

Definition fun: 

Atheist - Knows Everything about Everything.     They have to by definition because they claim there is no god.  In order to claim the non-existance of something, you have to have looked everywhere and seen everthing.

Agnostic - Doesn't care if there is a god.  They usually don't try to prove things one way or another because they just don't care.  Did god use eveolution?  Don't Care! says the agnostic.


Now, which are you again?

I am one of those who think Natural Nuclear Reactors are way more interesting than whatever-theism.

No, no, agnostic (which I am) is simply "you know that you don't know". It is not indifference, just the acknowledgement of lack of knowledge and of possibility.
