Gridmove
« on: February 01, 2026, 09:38 AM »
Casper 8 opens in a small window in the primary monitor of my desktop x32Win10ProV22H2 system. The 'Copy Drive' window also does, but I want it in the secondary monitor. Four Window Manager programs, after initial success, fail to KEEP it opening there. I want to see if GridMove can give a more permanent result. From the extensive documentation with GridMove, I can not figure out how to apply it to my 'problem'. The two Youtubes I found have no sound-track and give ME no useful information. Can you help ?

GridMove can move and resize windows, but it usually cannot force an application to always open on the secondary monitor if the program overrides its saved position. You can create a grid on the second screen and use a hotkey to move Casper there after it opens, but this is not fully automatic. For a more permanent solution, try closing the app while it is positioned on the secondary monitor so it saves that location, or use an AutoHotkey script to automatically move the window to monitor 2 when it launches.
