Actually, we put our own wallpaper on our builds, and I am creating a program to facilitate that process as well. That one will come later on, and will probably be another program that I would add to DonationCoder.

Well, if it's anything like the last season of House MD, it's not so stupid to the actors! Very badly paraphrasing from what I read elsewhere, the show producers said, "we want to 'cut costs'. So let's pay you gang *less* than we paid you last season!"

I watched it sporadically. (GF was a big fan.) But she felt it sort of went off the deep end the last season. Said she didn't much care for it once that space travel project got underway.
Liked what little I saw. Especially scenes with Felicia Day in them. Too bad they didn't give her and Allison. Scagliotti from WH13 their own show. Maybe the promised but never delivered WH12 which was to be set in the Victorian Age. Make them the top two agents. Bring back Jamie Murray ("HG") as the conservator-in-charge...

Eureka is an American science fiction television series that premiered on Syfy on July 18, 2006. The fifth and final season ended on July 16, 2012. The show is set in a fictional town in Oregon called Eureka (although, in the pilot episode, Eureka was located in Washington State). Inhabited almost entirely by scientific geniuses, most residents of Eureka work for Global Dynamics - an advanced research facility responsible for the development of nearly all major technological breakthroughs since its inception. Each episode features a mysterious accidental or intentional misuse of technology, which the town sheriff, Jack Carter, then solves with the help of town scientists. Researchers from the University of Washington in the US have managed to non-invasively link-up two people’s brains and allowed them to communicate without speaking.
This is the second time they’ve succeeded in creating this brain-to-brain communication, one year after they first showed it was possible, and it brings the ability closer to real-world applications.
The new study involved six people put into pairs. In the experiment, the researchers successfully transmitted the signals from one person’s brain over the internet and used them to control the hand movements of their partner, who was 800 metres away, within a split second. Their results are published in PLOS ONE.
"The new study brings our brain-to-brain interfacing paradigm from an initial demonstration to something that is closer to a deliverable technology," said co-author Andrea Stocco, professor of psychology from the University of Washington, in a press release. "Now we have replicated our methods and know that they can work reliably with walk-in participants."

When someone is experiencing cardiac arrest, the time taken to receive treatment is often the deciding factor between life and death. Public defibrillators are becoming increasingly common, but if you're untrained, they can be tricky to operate properly, plus they're not widespread enough to service all cardiac arrest patients. So an engineering student from Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands has proposed a solution - an ambulance drone that can fly a defibrillator to the patient within a fraction of the time it takes emergency services to arrive.
The ambulance drone is a hexacopter that can travel to a location within 12 square kilometres in about a minute. According to Alec Momont, the designer of the drone, this quick response can increase a heart attack patient’s chances of survival tenfold.
When a patient has a heart attack and an emergency call is placed, the drone is able to track the location of the call using an in-built GPS for navigation, and fly there at a speed of 100 kilometres per hour. Upon landing, an operator tunes in like a paramedic, giving instructions to someone nearby on how to use the defibrillator to treat the patient. The drone also has an in-built camera that allows the operator to ensure the defibrillator is being used correctly.

While government/military systems can thread a needle from space, they don't think the civilian riff-raff need that sort of pin point accuracy ... Hence we don't get access to it.
