Thanks. Another question for ya. I added an alias that uses nircmd's emptybin function to empty my recycling bin, but I can't find the recycling bin image on my computer anywhere... any idea where I would look for that? Thanks.-davidma22 (May 30, 2008, 02:55 AM)
so not quite sure if that correct location)Not in the plugin directory, in the Aliases/Installed directory.-mouser (May 29, 2008, 03:34 PM)

Yeah, it's easier to read.-f0dder (May 23, 2008, 10:44 PM)
Not. All-caps is the hardest to read.long spans of text in all upper-case are harder to read because of the absence of the ascenders and descenders found in lower-case letters, which can aid recognition.

Sorry, I know this thread is kind of old, but could someone please explain how to install this plugin? It would really help if these things came with readme's...-davidma22 (May 29, 2008, 12:21 PM)
For example US Adobe products are not licensed for export to Europe because Adobe sells licenses in Europe.
This probably breaks all sorts of international trade agreements, involves price fixing and is probably 'cartel' activity (which is certainly illegal in the UK) but some companies (Adobe is one - they actually told me they can identify the product source by the serial code) say they will not provide support or upgrades for products purchased outside the license territory.-Carol Haynes (May 28, 2008, 07:43 PM)
I'm shocked about Adobe doing that, I was considering doing exactly that, buying in the States or Canada & then "moving" to Europe.
-for European companies selling in the States I can understand that they have two different prices, it's a bad time to be selling anything to the US from here now & they have to reduce their $-prices to be competitive in states & probably making little or no profit on those sales. I know someone who's just gone out of business because of it & may have to sell their house.. but ADOBE, that's another story
My favorite NerdCore rapper has been written about several times on DC: MC Chris.
Check out "Fett's Vett" about star wars character Boba Fett, I've still not heard anything better in this genre.
Not quite nerdcore but close, and not to be missed: The Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destinty.-mouser (May 28, 2008, 12:36 PM)

I just think in this Internet age, one should be able to buy just a key instead of full CD/DVD(media)+shipping fees etc - wonder what is so vital in getting an actual CD/DVD ? One has to slipstream further patches anyway even to a SP3 CD-SKA (May 27, 2008, 07:52 AM)
in case they get a chance to check up on you physically... knock knock:This name business wont go away will it, my suggestion is call it FARR, just FARR, not find and run robot. Seems to me that the name FARR is probably becoming known, so keep it, and have a little note in the about box or in the help as to its derivation.-Grorgy (May 27, 2008, 05:47 AM)
I think the best snapshot/diff tool ATM in the freeware area is SystemExplorer.

Sure, the temperature may have risen on average over the last however many years, but I'm under the impression that that's just natural, periodic heating and cooling of the earth.-Deozaan (February 28, 2008, 07:44 PM)

Just finished eating and took a few minutes to post my own comment on lifehacker. Wonder if it's going to pass the, ahem, quality control filter...-Armando (May 22, 2008, 07:47 PM)
The final article is up so this is probably irrelevant at this point.. All the people who did vote for FARR had an an impact and brought FARR to light for a lot of people. I'll make a separate post on the lifehacker article.-mouser (May 22, 2008, 12:23 PM)
