That's a good, useful review. Thank you!

It would be great if I could point CMF to a folder of ICO files as well.

I'll vote for that!

Microsoft would do well to reverse this mindset and undo this stuff.
They, themselves, deserve a good hiding!

(One of the first things I did with 7 was to lose Aero.)

From what's on offer today, another desktop. Nothing can beat them for horsepower and screen real estate, and using either my tablet or my phone (both clever devices) for the work that I do is just a joke.

If/when something comes along at the consumer level with some kind of eyeball display, obviating the need for a screen, then I'll  reconsider.

cranioscopical, have you compared it with Rainlendar?
Yes, I tried Rainlender a few times hoping that it would meet my particular needs but I couldn't find a way to make that happen.
I don't have enough information to write a decent comparative review, alas.

« Last post by cranioscopical on May 02, 2012, 09:03 AM »
FWIW, I started using VueMinder a few months ago and I like it quite a bit.

When using a calendar, I dislike being forced to jump from month view to day (or week) view in order to see the details of an event. That being so, a big plus for me is the month view in VueMinder. That view can show more information per day than I have found possible with other calendar software.

At the time when I first considered using VueMinder, their support provided a lot of patient and timely answers to my questions about it.

[Disclaimer: I have no association with VueMinder other than being a customer.]

Nice work indeed!
A glitch here, though. If I drag the crosshairs from chart-builder/screen to my secondary monitor I get an unhandled exception.

I constantly get time-outs on autohotkey.com
is it my security programs, or is the site down / overloaded?
It's been okay for me. I just tried again to check and it's fine as of the time of this message.
