My thoughts

Current: Gradient with blue fading into white doesn't look appealing at all. The social icons are covering the logo, not a good idea.

Index5-2: If the red text is supposed to capture the attention fine but then text under them ("All your notes in one place, convenience + time saving", etc.) should also be a different color without having a different background color.

Index5: Probably my choice but the background of "No!" and "Yes" shouldn't be white and in my opinion should match the rest of the page background.

FWIW name.com and namecheap are the two I would recommend.

Just a note for those interested:

[2013-07-06] Vim 7.4a BETA has been made available.
Since 7.3 more than a thousand improvements have been made.
It should already be stable enough for daily use. But let's do some testing before calling it 7.4.

You can read the announcement here. (Bram Moolenaar)

All the apps on DoCo are of high quality ....

I'll refute that!

At no point have I ever tried to make any of my apps high quality, and I'll vigorously defend my right to not do so!

If at any point someone finds that one of my miscellaneous small programs/batch files is of high quality, please tell me and I'll fix it.

Only 1 in 10 work without crashing  :P

Living Room / Re: How to choose email address without using your name?
« Last post by rgdot on June 29, 2013, 08:05 PM »
In the internet early days name_somenumber was fashionable and the preferred way when name alone was not available. I never liked that and from then on I tried to sign up with something like an organization name version that incorporated my initials, for example rgdot. The only thing I could come up with when facing a similar dilemma to yours was just that, even if the supposed organization is fiction.

@worstje, There is a probably a good chance I won't get much useful information but it may also give me some idea too, especially about idle activity which according to various antivirus and antimalware software is not that kind of problem.

Thanks Ath, Shades, Curt. Will check the tools in the coming days.

Thanks for the details. This is not for my computer(s) and I am more interested in the general state of the system - at regular intervals - without worrying about specifics like memory leaks. That is why I wanted to have a look at it in a snapshots sort of way (checking process names and some details 'later'), without necessarily running something like Process Monitor. Personally haven't ever used RamMap or VMMap, I will have a look.

Here's a basic question for everybody.

What should I use if I want to log (to a text file) the processes that use the most cpu and ram? Say every 5 minutes a text file is appended with top 5 process names with as much info about the usage as possible.

This is for both XP and 7 computers, something that can be set and forgotten. Then days later I open the log file to check.

Thanks

Try to convince the author of Find and Run Robot to add optional support for indexing -- that would give you the best of both worlds.

Challenge game finished!
You won the challenge with 15636 points against 12564.

I, admittedly, got lucky.  On that last one, I got within 1km, giving 6k points.
