Can anybody else confirm what Deo is seeing?

I can. :-D

Trout TrayIcon Tooltip Bug.jpg

EDIT: I realized that I was running an older build and I just upgraded to v1.0.2.249 but I'm still seeing the same thing.

! Ampersands were not displaying properly in the Toaster popup.  [Thanks, Deozaan]

I found another ampersand problem. It won't show up in the tray icon's tooltip.

Nice blog. I found a few useful tidbits in there. :)

Not sure if other applications are being asked for, but I came across this one:

http://www.addictive...ouse-buttons-easily/

It can lock specific keyboard keys or mouse buttons. I haven't tried it, but when I saw it I remembered this thread.

Isn't that what subversion does? Just store the changes rather than the entire file?

Also, #48 hasn't even been created yet, so it shouldn't qualify for the list ("created in 2008").

And, come on. A paperclip? That's one of the most beautiful icons of 2008? Clippyw? That's a joke, right?

I try to download kill.exe from https://www.donation...mmel/index.html#Kill
and my antivirus resident scanner alerts with worm:autoit.xkx

The file will not download.  Please pass this along...

Thanks for reporting this, but it's a false positive. Virus scanners keep flagging AutoHotKey applications as containing viruses, even though they are clean and legitimate.

I really like the Liquidicity icon set(s).

Some of them toward the end only seemed to have 1 single "icon" so I'm not sure how they're called icon sets. Also, almost none of them appeared to be in .ico format, so they're not even really icons. They're just images.

maybe of interest to some, ran across this one this morning - <a href="http://wiki-in-a-jar.sourceforge.net/">Wiki In A Jar</a>

some nice features (see the screencast <a href="http://wiki-in-a-jar...tagtrees.htm>here</a>)

It looks kind of neat, but it's not really portable if not all computers have the JRE, is it?

So much for the Steam Cloud. I can't even get any of my Source engine games to remember settings between them. They all default to a lower resolution and low mouse sensitivity. Is it that hard for any new Source game I install to grab the settings from Half-Life 2 or something since most of the engine is shared data anyway?

Steam Cloud sounds cool, but if they can't even get local settings to communicate, I expect it will be much longer before they get the Cloud thing going.

Of course, that won't be very useful or helpful until you add some requested features to it. :)

What's the world coming to? I think we can all agree that we don't condone illegal material, especially the likes of child pornography (whether or not to have a mandatory block of it is another matter), but this is absolutely terrifying that some of these other sites are being blocked as well.

I hate DLC you have to pay for. It just encourages developers to release an unfinished game and then charge you extra if you want the full experience.

And then there are the companies (EA, I think it was) who charge you extra money to unlock cheat codes, or other forms of help. Or give people who pay extra money better gear and items that give them an unfair advantage in online games. This is bad!

DcUpdater / Re: Eight FARR Plugins Are Failing on DCUpdater
« Last post by Deozaan on March 18, 2009, 12:51 AM »
On second thought, can I just remove the plugins that aren't updated anymore? I don't think I want to hunt for the updates.

Thanks!

Jim

They're still updated, but only as one package, instead of individual plugins. Remove them and/or their .dcupdate files and install the CZB Package and you'll have it all working again properly.

That's because they've all been moved into one nice convenient package.

CZB Package

Well that's nice, but how was I to know?

Yeah, it's something I had to figure out for myself. I noticed they were all CZB's FARR plugins that were broken and remembered about his NANY submission, so I was able to find it.

I suppose you could also have right clicked them in DcUpdater and selected "Visit package website" to look for updates/fixes.

I'm not so sure on how FARR plugins usually work, but I think I had to manually remove all of CZB's plugins (or at least their .dcupdate files) so that the CZB Package wouldn't interfere with them.

If you break the law, you pay the penalty. Justice is blind and nobody is above the law.

Well...in a perfect world that may be true. But in the real world, Justice is neither blind nor unbiased; and a great many people and institutions are, in fact, very much above the law.

And that's pretty much the way it's always been throughout the history of human civilization.

Maybe if we as citizens demanded otherwise it wouldn't be like that anymore.

Bug Report: Toaster does not display ampersand. I'm guessing this means there are other special characters the toaster doesn't display.

I have a track titled "Horse & Carrot" which displays as "Horse _Carrot" in the toaster, but seems to display correctly everywhere else.
