Did you ever export your settings?
I do that periodically as the way I use DOpus evolves.
The 'everything changed' phenomenon happened to me when I went to 10, so I just imported the most recent settings and all was back to normal.
So, try exporting your settings before updating and then reading them back afterwards.-cranioscopical (September 17, 2011, 02:37 PM)

Here's a short, proof-of-concept, screencast of what I had in mind. It uses a system-wide hook that allows you to match window classes, title, etc and changes a small text wint window accordingly. Obviously, the GUI is very basic but, again, this is just a proof-of-concept.

@tomos: Something like this would be rather easy to write as a basic AHK script that you could easily modify and extend to your needs. I wouldn't want to write a configuration GUI for it, though. One question, though. When you say transparency, do you mean full window transparency? 1) I scan something, say a letter - text fits easily in A4 page
2) tidy & crop it in SC
3) when it is saved as PDF, SC enlarges the scanned image so as it fills the (A4) page to the very edge

I notice when I save a screenshot using "save as", there is drop-down-options "Fit" where I can set percentage between 25% and 400%. I thought this could be a good workaround when saving a scan as PDF - but unfortunately it doesnt work when I save as PDF - the image always fills the page (no margin even)
So, I guess there is an invisible setting somewhere that defaults to "Fit" when saving as PDF. Is there a reason for this? - if it's just accidental would you be able to change it to 100% [i.e. actual scan-image size doesnt get changed - unless I change it manually] ?-tomos (October 05, 2010, 03:51 AM)
