Let's hope every legitimate business soon commits to making it so.-40hz (January 29, 2013, 02:29 PM)
They have a lesser cost wired version also (G35).-wraith808 (January 29, 2013, 12:38 PM)
was checking that and it appears to have a design flaw that the wireless one doesnt:

they also have one other (significant) flaw in that they have been discontinued (else I probably would have just bought a pair)

Have you had a look at this?: Logitech Wireless Gaming Headset G930 - Mini-Review
Not sure what the local price might be currently - wherever you live.-IainB (January 28, 2013, 07:46 PM)
yeah, I'd seen this, but I didn't particularly want wireless (OK, I wouldn't mind, but I don't really want the hassle of another battery powered device), and they retail here for about $165.
That might be reasonable, but it's a bit beyond what my budget (and my conscience!!) can run to-Target (January 28, 2013, 08:07 PM)
Thanks guys: I'm not sure when the world changed Chris, but the grooms parents now pay just as much as the brides(or are we soft touches?

And great work! Very beautiful!
So NewEgg gives Avon + V. S. an 18 million Christmas present, and they don't get a card and a thank you?-TaoPhoenix (January 29, 2013, 08:32 AM)
I'd actually rather have yearly upgrades (at a reasonable price) rather than arbitrary major-version bumping.-f0dder (January 29, 2013, 09:57 AM)
I have to sign into a web service just to get basic security for the browser?-4wd (January 28, 2013, 08:11 PM)
Eh? What do you mean?-wraith808 (January 28, 2013, 08:41 PM)
Please point out where I can enter a Master Password to encrypt any saved passwords. Unless it's changed really recently, they've stated that they're not going to do it and they'll implement it by having you log into your Google account, (and that seems to be for syncing your unencrypted passwords so you can have them spread across even more devices).-4wd (January 28, 2013, 08:59 PM)

Yep. iOS counts too.(There are more out there as well.)
What kind of stuff are you working on? Has Xcode driven you past the edges of sanity yet?-Renegade (January 27, 2013, 10:06 PM)
but only done some quick experimenting with both platforms.. I need some inspiration and ideas..-mouser (January 28, 2013, 12:34 AM)
I did take a look at Benubird and I'm sure it's a fine app, but unless I'm mistaken, Benubird creates its own database, rather than using the Windows file system. I want a system where changes I make in Windows folders are immediately reflected in the document management program, which is why I opted for Filecenter.-johnk (January 26, 2013, 12:43 PM)

PROFESSIONAL EDITION
My Digital Documents 2012 Professional Edition is a Multi-User version that utilizes Microsoft SQL Server™ and is suitable for both home users (for you power-users) as well as small and medium size businesses.
Very little technical knowledge is necessary to setup Microsoft SQL Server, (we’ve made that easy by providing a step by step tutorial) in our Support section.
You can store individual files in excess of 750MB each into your databases!
If using SQL Server Express 2012 your databases can reach a maximum size of 10GB. Much bigger if you’re using Microsoft SQL Server Standard or higher (sold separately).
Limited security permissions prevent other users from inadvertently deleting other users folders or files.
