If we blow the planet too early the roaches won't be ready to sign the new lease ... And god knows who'll try to take over then (probably another bunch of stupid monkeys...)

congrats deo :)

we'll have to get on to mouser - there was a tradition to get a mug @ 5,000 posts.
I made a pre-5000'th-post request to get one of those lovely new ceramic Cody shot glasses, to which he agreed, but I never followed up on it when I actually made it to 5000 (too busy around new year).

great stuff, tomos.

I agree :D
I've watched it all. It's difficult to actually sit and watch :)
The music is available as a free (slow) download here - with a CC license:

only downside is I'm going around the place singing totally sexist hip-hop lines, in sometimes very inappropriate places...

If you're interested, there's also a current beta that seems stable now - he's fixed and hugely improved scrolling capture

Ath, that is a good idea, but my first instinct is to minimize the options and features of that red box window that follows the cursor around, just because i worry about it being confusing.  Let's see if my new version is adequate.

New beta of Screenshot Captor is up that uses the new Scrolling Capture system:

https://www.donation...nshotCaptorSetup.exe

The new system is also used to capture "objects" even when you don't want to do scrolling.

In order to make workflow efficient, instead of the fun introductory dialog that was shown in the first scrolling capture implementation -- now you get the red box right away, and after you select an object you get a dialog.
 (see attachment in previous post)
One improvement in workflow is that it's now easier to understand how to do multiple OBJECT captures in a row -- useful if you want to grab various regions of a window -- and there is natural place for me to add features on window objects -- like adding an option to "capture all children windows", on the post-object-selection dialog.

Let me know what you think!

Also, they chose a time least conducive to actually hanging around and listening to music. Probably because they wanted it to be a "disaster" so as they could gloat about the extremes.

OTOH:
I love live music myself - you hear some great stuff around here (smallish city) but people rarely if ever actually stop and listen. I dont know why exactly that is. I used to live in Dublin (much busier), and good buskers in the city centre would get huge crowds around them. Including me ;-)

I have ideas about the differences between the two: - cultural differences; less young people in the smaller city, it's more provincial; bigger city more open to different music(s)

Here's a great video. Actually, 12 videos
:)
Girl Walk // All Day is a feature-length dance music video and tale of urban exploration that follows three dancers across New York City.
[...]
is set to All Day, the album by mash-up musician Gregg Gillis (aka Girl Talk)
Love the music too ;-)

! If you dont like long intros, skip to 2:15

some of the "chapters" are censored here on YT
Spoiler
Unfortunately, this video is not available in Germany, because it may contain music for which GEMA has not granted the respective music rights.

- if so, try

My mug and DC thong arrived today - I'll take a photo the next time we get some daylight here!
It's such a pity about your speech impediment! Are you going to thing the DC thong?

Ever consider... maybe it's not a speech impediment?  And he... gulp... meant what he said?  Throws a whole new light on that picture...

there was a tradition where I lived, or was it where I drank :-\ - anyways, there was a tradition to go on the piss the night before your 18th birthday (legal drinking age). They were very lax about enforcement...

The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
-Thomas Jefferson

just curious:
does he mean that (we) the patriots should fight the tyrants - or does he mean we gotta kill/bleed the patriots as well as the tyrants?
The latter seems quite apt in these "patriotic" days - but I suspect he meant the former. I know - he possibly had a cleaner version of patriotism in mind.
As someone who doesnt believe that that route brings anything worthwhile, I'd disagree with both anyway :p but as you say it could be where it's heading, more likely the "dark path" though I think :-\

I'm not *that* old. And I try to keep fairly active. Even so, it's annoying to stretch after sitting for a few hours, and something in my shoulders and neck makes a sound like an old mechanical music box being wound up followed shortly after by a 'pop' best described as the sound a deadbolt makes when it's unlatched.

you need Gokhale and more (same thread) ;-)

But hey - isn't it nice how easily you can reconfigure the main CHS GUI?      :Thmbsup

yeah, it is

Wait a minute. . .

If anybody, any time, any where, can be Anonymous, then who are Anonymous to say it's a fake? :-\

As I understand it, if someone claims to be Anonymous, they are. Therefore anybody can speak as Anonymous to announce that Anonymous are going to do something.

maybe anonymous arent so disorganised? (I know, anyone can be "anonymous")

but it is a mess -
  • it says 12am without saying which timezone
  • it says you wont get in trouble cause "they cannot take down that large of a group" - but they might take YOU down...

edit / sj got in ahead of me there

Thank you very much for posting that walkthrough ewemoa!

with ewemoa's help there I got a perfect shot of an email in Thunderbird.

The only thing I changed a bit was the margins but they would have been fine the way they were.
It looked initially like it was going to capture the window frame as well, but it didnt

This is all too likely to happen.  And it won't be called SOPA, nor PIPA.  It will be called something benign and created not to call attention to what it really is.

...I hate the way the US Govt works sometimes...
