MaimThatFile works just fine for me.
I was unable to make one version work, until I deleted every single thing related to it and started from scratch with the latest variant.

Relying only on Explorer.exe:
- No drop target appears
- F12 does nothing
- Crlt-alt-x kills it propoly.

Grrrrr. I can't find it. I remember there being a few wiki pages that compared FirstDefense, Returnil, Sandboxie, Deep Freeze, etc., but can't find them now. Microsoft has SteadyState, but I doubt it works on Server 2008. I know it works on Vista and XP.-tinjaw (April 13, 2009, 08:44 AM)
