How about a video about music?

Interesting. What if you shortened down the length of all audio you calculated to 1 minute? Or 30 seconds?

Such a shame, I felt the need to make a gif for it.

What gif?

Oh you mean this gif?:

About using vinegar and baking soda for a drain cleaner.  That old formula is pretty much an old wives tale.  The only thing those two together do is make a bunch of fizz.  It don't create any kind of acid to eat away the crap found in drains.

You know vinegarw is 5% acidity, right?  (at least from the store, in the USA)

DC Gamer Club / Zeno Clash: $1 (Nov. 26, 2012)
« Last post by Deozaan on November 26, 2012, 12:06 PM »
I just noticed that Zeno Clash is on sale on Steam right now for $1.

The game takes place in a weirdly surreal setting with interesting characters and environments and creatures. I liked the story. Unfortunately I thought the combat wasn't that great, and IIRC that makes up about 95% of the gameplay, but maybe I just sucked at it?

I think it is worth $1, and the game is worth at least one playthrough (if you have the patience for it) just to get the story and to see how it all unfolds. Sometimes I want to play through it again so I can get a refresher on the story and experience it again, but then I remember how much I disliked the combat and decide not to. Such a shame. Maybe if I had some cheat codes. . .

Anyway, get it for $1 while the sale lasts.

Okay, so the music video is ok, but not anything spectacular. I just really like the song.

Listen to the one above and the one below. Sound similar at all to you?

And this one also sounds similar:

I use Ad Free Android which seems to work well, but it does require root to handle the hosts file. Though honestly I don't use the web browser a whole lot so maybe I don't notice ads? But I don't see ads in my apps either.

We need to extract the secrets of anti-gravity from the cats.

Here's a cat who knows how to jump. Or something.

The most awesomest clock face ever.
 (see attachment in previous post)

Nice find.  BTW, I don't understand the computation for "7" : 9-sqrt(9)+ ? = 7, what is actually the ?

Reading that would be "point nine bar". Some mathematical notations are used differently in different situations. I believe that they mean "ad infinitum" there. So:

nine minus root nine plus point nine bar = 9 - 3 + 0.999999999999999999999... = 7

Math is just wonky sometimes with odd symbol usage. I generally think of "bar" as meaning absolute value or ad infinitum for several digits, with dot being used for 1.

Thanks ! I only used to see a bar over a value to designate the conjugate of a complex number.

0.999w = 1

Viewers of the accompanying video might initially wonder why the person doesn't just give the cockatoo its nuts, rather than make the poor bird work painstakingly for its meal. But what's astonishing is that the bird, a captive-bred Goffin's cockatoo named Figaro, possesses the skills to craft a tool, and use it to achieve its objective.
