I am open to the idea of adding a hotkey (and/or item in system tray menu) that says to mark the last clip as a Favorite. (I thought dc member Cranioscopical had forced me to add such a feature already!). Being able to send a clip directly into other folders may be a bit more convoluted (in terms of user interface) than it's worth.. But being able to quickly favorite the last clip does seem worth while.

May I suggest that if anyone else decides to implement this, they adopt Skwire's "api" of using folder paths and file naming convention. That way you could have multiple implementations of this idea that share the same underlying user "data". As far as a browser-based version of this idea, it would make a fun challenge for a new javascript/php coder.

There is no way to do that, but I believe I added a way to quickly mark the last item you copies as a "favorite", which would let you find it later much easier. I thought I added a hotkey for that but i can't see it. However if you bring up the quick-popup-menu and right click on the top item, you'll see a menu that will let you mark that item as a favorite.

This post was initially erroneously deleted as spam.. Eddy can you follow up and fix your broken link, and maybe tell us a little bit more about what motivated you to work on this? I'm also curious about the sac.sk site -- can you tell us more about it and your involvement with it? It looks like there are some interesting old programs on it that must represent some early programming projects of yours (or someone elses?)

The #filecontents function of FARR is pretty advanced stuff, the fact that you have gotten as far as you have already is an accomplishment! Keep going!

I'm sorry I didn't think to mention that.. somehow I assumed you had already found that obscure hidden feature
I normally trigger my formatting presets from the Quick Popup menu myself, but setting a hotkey for a specific formatting preset can speed up the process if you are doing it a lot.

I wonder if i can check for and handle this condition more gracefully.. It may simply be a case of a temporary file being locked at start of app by a security app but that a second attempt to read it would solve the problem.
In your case terminating and relaunching solved the problem and you didn't have to make any changes in the app or in your antivirus tool, is that correct?

What you can do is control that list order completely. Choose the last item in the goto menu labeled "Configure GoTo Folder List" and it will take you to preferences tab where this list is specified.
