Found Deals and Discounts / Re: Aomei Partition Assistant for Migration 5.1
« Last post by cmpm on November 22, 2012, 05:05 AM »
The image is just a little cartoon showing the program,
nothing to do with obtaining it.
No, I have not used the migration feature.
But I have used the partitioning features, and like it's performance.
To get the program, you have to supply an email.

« Last post by cmpm on November 22, 2012, 03:00 AM »
Is the same as Aomei Partition Assistant Pro Edition 5.1 I believe.
I'm not sure, cause the install wanted to uninstall my Pro version 5.1,
which already has the migration assistant.
I don't know how long this will run.

Well, I think there is a little responsibility on the banned poster to make it right too.
If the person wants to make it right.
The administrator's email is easy enough to find.

I've found Frameless to work well pinned to the Start menu.
If that helps.

from "about" DonationCoder.com

The programmers at DonationCoder.com are dedicated to providing professional quality software and professional quality support. We take seriously the need to solicit donations, and the need to distribute donations to the people who contribute to the website, whether in the form of software, support, or editorial content.

I see this working in it's dynamics constantly here.
We all invest a bit of ourselves, with our thoughts, input, or finances,
each as important as the other, separate or combined.
The donations here are not limited, and are treated with respect.
As your donation is, clean.

put the "I-KNOW-" ones in here
Tools-Preferences-Storage
that will give existing free users 1gb for each one

by the way, public funding?
who isn't?
unless you are printing it in your basement

fwiw  I have donated very little
and currently at about 50 cents a program.
I think.
Even less if I figure in the things I've found, listening.

lol....too funny, clean
even I know his name

unless $ is not related to the software on site, then it would not be "public funding"?
'above it all' hm... yeah he's in charge, it's his site, but more below it all
supporting the prime directive...lol

most are for when you first sign - up, the number and letter codes

the "I-KNOW-" ones are worth 1gb

Yes, I have Wuala too, forgot it.
Here's some coupon codes that worked when I used them.
Only a few didn't work.
These boosted Wuala up to 14gb

It really depends on what you want to use the storage for.
I use Box.net, MiMedia, SkyDrive, Dropbox, Cubby.
25gb, 7gb, 25gb, 10gb, 5gb respectively.

Plus a few others that, I seldom use,
but in my bookmarks with registered account.

The preferred options are to have it workable through the web.
And with the optional desktop deal.

I found some desktop applications are good, others are not.
They either hog your memory or carry unwanted adware.

There is imageshack and photobucket too.
And Minus, which is very cool.

Just add .com to any of those names to bring up the page.

Some of these are free and I downloaded a lot of them.
Handbrake is recommended, mostly.
To incorporate conversion into ESR may not be in one of these websites.
Just posting these, to give options for now.

“The reality in the United States is that we still really only have two search engines — Google and Bing,” said Danny Sullivan, editor of SearchEngineLand.com. “I think it’s entirely unlikely that DuckDuckGo is gonna put Google on its back and crush it.”

Not so fast Danny.
I'd tend to lean towards, DuckDuckGo has made a huge difference in Google's amount of ads and search results.
Bing has put up a direct competitor, but DuckDuckGo has brought attention to superior alternatives for users.

I think Capshift may do what you want.
It sets in the tray. I use it to delay the caps lock key.

Mini-Reviews by Members / Re: FreeFileSync - automated backup - Mini-Review
« Last post by cmpm on November 10, 2012, 07:56 AM »
The OC deal is removed by Eset Nod32 during installation (after reboot).
While still allowing FreeFileSync to install.

FWIW, Eset catches some OC packages and some show up without being detected.
Some of their install wrappers are considered a threat, others are not, I suppose.

General Software Discussion / Re: Any program to manually run startup programs?
« Last post by cmpm on November 06, 2012, 10:35 AM »
Add-ons could be slowing it down on startup.
A Java enabled add-on was slowing FF startup for me.
So I disabled it via the add-on itself instead of through the add-on manager.
It still sets in add-on bar ready to enable if I need it.

Not only Andrew, but Katrina as well.
They should have ordered emergency supplies before it hit.
It's not like they didn't see it coming.
Louisiana, for the most part, knew they would not get much real help.
