I have problems with AVG Antivirus. I disconnect but I obtain the same message.
Perhaps is something problematic with my pc and this program.
I am in the proofs partitions and I don't have at these moments a lot of soft here.

Direct Folders is freeware.  You get additional features for the Pro version.  These features are not that big a deal for most people.  Did you read my review?

CFDButton is not present in some windows. Perhaps I don't understand well.
Folder Menu seems to be a launcher from the tray icon. I am using Power Tray for that purpose.
I will have to have this applications under observation.
I still think Filebox eXtender is the best.

As I use Total Commander as my file manager, rather than Windows Explorer, I don't have quite so much need, but you still can't avoid folder dialogs.  I run PowerPro and find its "Favorite folders lists for file open/save dialogs" feature very useful.

It seems to be a complete program, but i have others adopted like Virtual Dimension, Power Tray. Don't arrive in a good moment. Its presentation is not very good. The web is poor, but I think the program is good.

Not adopted.

Powerpro seems very powerful and a lot of options. Perhaps too much. I have installed this in the past as portable and I remember that have many options.
CFDbutton I'll proof. Downloaded.
Direct folder seems to be a commercial program.
Folder menu Downloaded.
I had Powerpro installed in portable mode, and see that CFDbutton and Folder Menu are portable. This is very important for me. I have Filebox eXtender in "simuling" portable mode, but the data is shared between the systems. It's not a good portable.

I did a bit of work for you there - I didnt do it because I was looking for thanks (more because I was bored with my work) but I would appreciate a more polite response

FileBox eXtender Alternatives

I would like to find alternatives to this splendid program, but gives me some problems with open office version 3.0.1. Goes well with Open Office 2.4.1.

This is known by them. So I would to find alternatives.

Automatically copy highlighted text is not a good option because highlighting can be used when dragging text, pasting text, deleting text, priniting text, highlighting files or folders, messages in your e-mail program, etc. unless you want this automatic copy work only in certain situations and with specific programs only.

I just created a program which does automatic copy of highlighted text but it does not copy everything which is highlighted but insted it copies only when a user gives OK to do that and works system wide and it's fully customizable. The same way it can do paste or Cut and Undo if you will.

I'm not sure if it's considered a self promotion on this forum but the program is doing exactly what this thread is about.

Where is that documentation for DragKing ?. I am looking for an alternative because I don't get result in my system.

  I have started recoding DragKing, to make it only copy when the mouse is inside text.

The tip duration is documented in AHK's help file:

This setting is currently unreliable due to the nature of its handling by the OS.

But it could probably be improved.

Excuse my english.

I am using before DragKing the program Phrase Express to make scripts.
I have one of these scripts in use for Goldmine 5.5 (a CRM program) to fill the fields Company and contact with the same value and add the register to the database.

I am trying this code {#SHIFT -chars {#HOME}}{#clipboard -copy}{#TAB -count 1}{#clipboard -paste}{#ENTER}

and this one :
I am trying this code {#SHIFT -chars {#HOME}}{#TAB -count 1}{#clipboard -paste}{#ENTER}  , but in the new registry windows DragKing don't go.

If I omitted {#ENTER} the result is no new register. The cursor stop and the end of the filed Company. I would like to put screenshots to explain this in a graphical way and perhaps you can help me or give some idea because I observed your program have a module for configuration.

This is the result without the use of ENTER.




Ordinarily when I add a new register the program keeps this form (first image) :

but something happen with DragKing also when I take a screenshot with the program LightScreen.
The active tab in goldmine is changed
from "notas" to "campos".

The same situation is produced when I add the ENTER to the script in this way :

{#SHIFT -chars {#HOME}}{#clipboard -copy}{#TAB -count 1}{#clipboard -paste}{#ENTER}

P.D. I am a lover of programs like this. I use Ditto too. I would like solved this little program and adopt DragKing inmediately.

Another try. Something moves the "notas" tab to the "campos" tab .
