« Last post by wraith808 on August 30, 2015, 01:47 PM »Are donationcredits supposed to be showing up? And history? Just curious as they don't seem to be.
And this is the reason I usually don't try them... unless I'm thinking of imminently purchasing, or the size is small. Downloading a demo to the tune of multi-GB downloads just doesn't seem productive to me.-wraith808 (August 29, 2015, 12:08 PM)
It's an initial 6GB download and like any online-only game, it's best to play with people you know rather than a bunch of strangers from the internet.-lanux128 (August 29, 2015, 09:44 PM)

And just in case that didn't clear things up for you, in the case of ARK this weekend it means free during the weekend promo.-Deozaan (August 29, 2015, 01:43 AM)
I find the whole uBlock/uBlock Origin thing to be an unfortunate and confusing mess.agreed --mwb1100 (August 28, 2015, 05:46 PM)
the fact of it ('Origin') going beyond my idea of what an adblocker does, made me more active in reporting my preference.-tomos (August 28, 2015, 06:04 PM)
Add me to this list, Origin just became too intrusive so I switched back to uBlock (non-Origin).FWIW I'm currently using PaleMoon and 'Adblock Latitude' - I am still waiting for the ideal browser/adblocking extension ;-)
I'm using PM with uBlock (0.9.5.0) since they provided support for the pre-Australis interface I thought I may as well try it out - was using Adblock Latitude for a while.-4wd (August 28, 2015, 10:38 PM)
This thread made me actually install WinPrivacy and WinPatrol. I bought them during the 'last great hurrah because lifetime licenses are going away" and thought maybe I should check to see if the license information they sent me actually works.
Two things -
First: Holy crap! I can't believe what they are charging for these two programs now! I paid less than half of an annual license fee for one product & got two lifetime licenses.
Second: Holy crap again! These two programs look like their UIs escaped from the early 90s.-Innuendo (August 29, 2015, 10:13 AM)
^ FWIW I prefer the uBlock variation - the "origin" version started blocking whole webpages which I felt wasn't it's job:

Very clickbait-y, with not always accurate info...-Deozaan (August 27, 2015, 07:19 PM)
I thought it could be interesting for somebody to give it a try as there has not been discount like this for ages (I think back in 2014 or so). I have been truly unable to find anything active since. I use PhraseExpress and I am a bound to it as its export features are crippled (I know that Phrase Expander have some migration tool available). Both two previous work perfectly at home but are pretty useless when you have corporate restricted PC access - either no USB version (Pexp) or USB write restriction (PE needs to create xml on start up). Hence recently I realised that only Breevy does the work at best (btw new version should launch early) when one sets it up to work along Citrixvia clipboard.
I use them for medical reports as it speeds up the turnaround time together with my collection of canned reports.
Sorry for 2 posts only - I am usually just checking discounts forum here.-dhous (August 27, 2015, 04:50 PM)
Who... me?

Samsung has contacted us to say that they were looking into the matter: "At Samsung, we understand that our success depends on consumers’ trust in us, and the products and services that we provide. We are investigating into this matter as quickly as possible. Protecting our consumers’ privacy is our top priority, and we work hard every day to safeguard our valued Samsung users.”
No Oblivion or Skyrim?
Still pretty cool. But I thought I had purchased the Fallout Trilogy on GOG before, but it says I don't own them.
Huh. I just checked and they are in my GOG library. But GOG still says I don't own them on the store page.-Deozaan (August 26, 2015, 12:33 PM)
DukeNukemForever: I would highly recommend that gog would add some more informations about the differences between Bethesdas re-releases and Interplay classic releases. So far I know the re-release has some mods added, like the Baldur's Gate remakes. Multilingual isn't also new, as the Interplay releases on Dotemu wee also multilingual. That's not a Bethesda excluse, only gogs late move to multilingual support. Also multiplatform support seems to be gone, but that's also no surprise, as GOG did back them for Interplay (first dosbox, later wine versions).
So yeah, some officieal explanations what's new would be very nice.
Edit: Another thing, thread title is talking about Fallout classics while the versions are not the new labelled classics from Interplay. So yeah, kind of confusing. So, are these versions the Bethesdas updated and modded versions like on steam, or are these just the old Interplay versions just new branded?
The only difference between the Classic editions and the Fallouts from Bethesda is that the Classic versions (as we've decided to call them) have more bonus goodies and support one additional platform - OS X. Other than that, those two editions should be identical. The main reason for this difference is that the approval process for the remaining bonus goodies takes a lot of time and we didn't want to hold up the release just because of that.![]()
To answer another question - will we ever have them included in the Bethesda versions? We will do everything in our power, of course, but I can't say for certain that we will.

I've been trying the Slimjet version of Chrome for several months and it has no issues with WinPatrol or WinPrivacy downloads/updates.-Joe Hone (August 26, 2015, 08:39 AM)
Thanks Deo, for that information. Without a browser extension, I won't be trying it. I use mine a lot to have my passwords available to my wife, and she's not really technical.-wraith808 (August 25, 2015, 09:58 PM)
It can import from LastPass. So you can continue to use LastPass in your browser on your desktop, and just use Enpass on your mobile device, if you'd like.
LastPass is $12/year on mobile. Enpass is a one-time $10 purchase.-Deozaan (August 25, 2015, 10:08 PM)
I wrote to LastPass support about this and they said it was for their stupid LastPass browser that is also built into the app. I told them the browser was superfluous and that they should separate it into another app if they wanted to include that functionality, because all I wanted from them was to be able to store and retrieve my passwords. They didn't really respond to that.Isn't the problem that Google won't allow extensions to be added to any Android browser by a third party, so the only way to make logins seamless is for the password program's authors make their own browser with the functionality built in? At least, that's what I thought from reading Sticky Password's information.-Deozaan (August 25, 2015, 11:28 AM)-rjbull (August 25, 2015, 04:17 PM)
