I bought IBasic Pro during that holiday discount cause it looked beefy and was dirt cheap and the new years resolution i made to my self that i would create an application this year.

I can wing things like NSIS installer, i used to tap around and make batch files,yeah i know this isn't programming,but
i know there's something there.I see these apps here and at cockos.com and nullsoft,these itty bitty apps and i
know i can create something ,i just need a jump off point.

I'd like to create a download manager,or a very simple email checker and slap my freakin name on it.
Someone help.

Would object dock from stardock be considered in the launch bar catagory?Anyways i have Object dock.It's a little
iffy.I'm looking forward to seeing what DC's lauchbar will be like.It wouldn't take much for me to ditch Object dock.

I bought a whole suite of Stardock stuff like six months ago,windowsblinds,Object dock,uninstalled windowsblinds,
and from the looks of their forums i'm not gonna upgrade.You ever see a forum of a software product that's gone
bad,lynchings almost accure and effigies of software programmers are set ablaze... almost.Every front post
on stardock's forums are negatives.Divx went through the same thing when they fazed out Dr. Divx and replaced
it with a frills encoder.You rip a kid out of twenty bucks man you better change your address,lol.Dr. Divx is back
btw.

Well things are going badly.First off i'm running this beside Boclean and F-prot.

During configuring packet filters i got a wicked BSOD.After manually rebooting,
i'm back at it again.It's resource hungry,runs two instances of it's gui

and kpfss, a third resource.I've tried to kill one of the gui instances and it
pops back up.These all run while minimized.I'm not liking it.I've also tried
Sunbelts CounterSpy,oh my dear lord,run away quickly.To it's credit it
found some weatherbug spyware crap that realplayer install.That aside
the thing wants to be to many different applications in one.I want a spyware
cleaner,not a partial firewall and registry tweaker,etc. all chugging along at
like 50 mb of ram, no thank.I really want to like Sunbelts products, they look
like a very dedicated group,i've visited their blogs,forums,etc.But their apps
are just schizophrenic.
