btw, the developers of Penumbra are having an additional promo by selling the whole collection for only $5! after you've donated to the Humble Indie Bundle, you can get a coupon that slashes the price by $15. The three Penumbra Games are Overture, Black Plague & Requiem.

About piracy, I was thinking of preventing it by being a nice guy and encouraging people to not crack it  :-*

maybe a subtle message like this. ;D

In firefox you should see a button appear near the address bar. Sometimes it may fail if you moved buttons to others bar that the toolbar. Check if you can find it by right clicking and go to personnalize. It should appear in the list of all buttons to add.

yes, my 'navigation toolbar' was hidden so i couldn't see the swiffout button previously. now it's visible.

i spotted this bi-lingual dialog box, btw.. :)

Actually I have a test mode parameter that switch to playing in a window. But right now it is a window without border, so you won't be able to move it. But it's really doable.

i hope that option makes it to the final build. btw, how to invoke Swiffout in Firefox? i can't find the button anywhere, though it works in IE.

nice idea! can the flash games be played in a window of its own instead of full screen?

The Humble Indie Bundle offers 5 indie games at a price you get to choose! the games are World of Goo, Aquaria, Gish, Lugaru, and Penumbra: Overture. the amount is split equally 7 ways with the games' devs plus Child's Play charity and Electronic Frontier Foundation but you can tweak the split any way you'd like. watch the video for more info.

DC Gamer Club / Mechwarrior 4 is now FREE!
« Last post by lanux128 on May 03, 2010, 01:26 AM »
the free release of Mechwarrior 4 is available since Friday (April 30th). the game's immense popularity has caused a server melt-down by gamers eager to get their hands on the free edition. so you may have to wait for a while. :)

"Studio MekTek, in association with Smith and Tinker, INC., Virtual World Entertainment, LLC, Catalyst Game Labs, and Microsoft Games, is happy to announce the release of Mechwarrior4 Free.

Getting started is easy. Just download and install MTX, MekTek's free content delivery and updating system. Once installed, simply click the Games Available tab, select Mechwarrior4: Mercenaries and click install. The game will download and install, all within MTX, and as updates become available, MTX will help you keep your game up to date.

Once again, a big thanks to Microsoft Games and all of our partners for making this free release possible, and a special thanks to all of you in the community. Without our community, MekTek wouldn't be what it is today. Your continued support and financial contributions have made all of this possible. "

excellent finds, lanux128.

Cursor Navigator doesn't work correctly with multi-screens but MouseWrapper works perfectly - which i think is pretty amazing on my inverted T layout.

i'd tried searching for "autohotkey wrap cursor" using google but never found anything of much use - so i really appreciate what you've done.

(i'll send you some DC credits later.) thanks again.

thanks for the credits, nudone. i'm glad that the script works on your system. :)

btw, if you want to search for more AHK solutions, try their forums search, it is much more reliable.
1498
what is your OS? btw, there are some solutions in AHK but you may need to test them on your PC to see if they work or not..

(yet another) Mouse Wrapper - supports multi-heads

either CursorUS or Edgeless should do the trick. while i'm not sure whether CursorUS has multi-monitor support, Edgeless has a new version that supports dual monitors. btw, Edgeless has no web-page of its own so you have to scroll down a bit. there is also Multi-Monitor Mouse but it's hotkey-based.

Nubs can also be used for this type of windows management.

Nubs is an application for Windows similar to Sticky Windows (Mac OSX). Nubs is designed to maximize window management and organization with stylish and themeable tabs. It only takes a few seconds to leave, and is painless to use.
