You asked nearly the same question a couple of days ago... (and got basically the same answers)

What's the unit to convert to? (n00b question maybe, or I just don't understand: Volume to Volume stays the same, AFAICS) cubic to cylindrical is just a different shape to me.

Screenshot Captor / Re: feature request for auto-screenshot
« Last post by Ath on November 03, 2014, 07:25 AM »
- there is a minor problem: rate is always not precise (i set 5 ms, the result is 5 or 6; i set 8, the result is 8 or 9...)
Sounds like a totally different problem: Taking a screenshot every 5 milliseconds is probably faster than Windows can store the image on disk, so the next one might be a bit delayed... :o
And needing that feature, a more efficient solution might be to make a screen-movie, instead of a bunch of separate image files, that are not stored very efficient, compared to a (usually stored compressed) movie.
You might better use ESR (Easy Screencast Recorder) for that.

You can choose on what side a shape is added by setting the appropriate Endpoint Shape for Start and/or End when the Arrows feature is activated

In the log, it says many times: 'Not added to any areas.'
Not sure what that means.
You should long-press that message and choose "Add to area", and add it to your current area (Home? )

There is a Learning mode for Areas (long-press an Area, "Start Learning Area"), that you can set for a specific time, and during that time all GSM antennas detected will be added to that area (while you are walking around the house, or at work etc.).

Living Room / Re: Android shortcuts

An android app should specifically support that feature, so you should probably ask the vendor (or search the help/docs) if they support that. I'd expect the app to have a feature of 'Create start-screen shortcut' or something similar.

Also wanted to ask Ath, how's that review coming?  :D
Been quite busy (made a foreign work-trip, and some time-consuming projects), so I didn't get to it yet, sorry about that. Still on my agenda though

Android wifi with credentials doesn't auto connect?

The WiFi does connect, but the proxy/router asks for confirmation or credentials before you are allowed to access the outside world.

You should really try Sygic*, its partly free, and fully usable off-line (without internet connecton) if you pre-download the maps when still on WiFi.

* No connection to the company.

Living Room / Re: android app to set my vibration mode on specific hours
« Last post by Ath on October 22, 2014, 12:28 PM »
This is because I set it to set my sound profile to silent, from 9am to 5pm when I am at work, and it didn't restore it at 5pm to 'normal profile'!
How can I do this?
Do I have to set another event trigger to set my phone to 'normal sound profile' each weekday after 5pm?
Same with WiFi, while it disabled wifi while I was at work, it didn't re-enable it, at 5pm.
Any hint?
That is exactly how you should configure that. Create another trigger running from 5pm, to restore earlier settings. The standard provided triggers actually pointed me in that direction from the first time I looked at it...

A similar app, though I didn't try it, but is one of the suggestions that is actually recently updated, is Atooma, it has a loooong list of possible triggers/conditions :tellme:

Check out llama, it is able to switch profiles on several conditions, like time/day, cell-phone location, Wifi networks available, etc.

Firefox 1.5 Final
Wasn't that released somewhere in 2005? Looks like waaaay off the charts here... (iow: possible spam? )

I had it yesterday from my home connection, and now at work which is a totally different provider, though in the same country :tellme:

Mouser, can you also update the .dcupdate file on the website so a Check for Updates action from SSC 4.9.0 provides the opportunity to update to this latest (4.9.1) version?

And besides that, the download speed for SSC is horrendously slow, ~30 kB/sec, and that's not something I saw happening before from the DC servers...

Isn't that a standard feature of FireFox? In the Favorites menu (possibly right-click, on a tablet atm, can't check now)

For the simple mind-mapping tasks I have, I've been using FreeMind, a SourceForge project that is IMHO worth a look.

As it turns out, Java lets you do stupid stuff like this.

That's not Java to blame, just stupid/sloppy/lazy programming, and people tend to repeat their mistakes :-\

env x='() { :;}; echo vulnerable' bash -c "echo this is a test"

That's the simple test, but this one still shows the date/time of execution after patch 1 is applied:
rm -f echo && env -i  X='() { (a)=>\' bash -c 'echo date'; cat echo
After applying the second patch it should just do nothing, afaik.
Oh, run it in an empty directory, just to be safe, it will delete, and can create, a file called echo
