~one of those weird situations where I could only open the target link in Internet Explorer, because Firefox wouldn't recognize it as something to download (not ".mp3" but ".htm").

I agree with the important parts of this interpretation:

call us back on 01865 826245, and at Wednesday the 26th of March be at Plant Swindon, at reception at quarter to eight for an eight o'clock start.  until approximately half-past twelve. /Jodie Evans

The involved phones are suffering from lack of sound quality, and her pronunciation is a little sloppy. However, at the same time I would say her English is fine, but that of a young mind; not really concerned with the other part...

Are you ready to face death, kalos? We all know there are more murders happening in and around Oxford than anywhere else in the world! Are you going to kill, to manhandle a BMW?

Was that too much?  :-\

I don't have twitter or instagram, so I walk the streets, shouting at random people. I'm screaming out what it looks like in my place, and what I do, what I am eating and drinking, what I am hearing, watching, (not) thinking, what clothes I am wearing, and what my pet just did.

So far I have 3 followers, yeah! One I think is a doctor, the other two are policemen.

;D  I clearly must be suffering from some similar disease, since my first reaction was that it surely must come from some third party application.

But how can bit get Copy Image Location back, if it has been broken?  :tellme:

If I (still) had the problem, I think I would first create a list of links to the various extensions that I would want to keep, and then simply uninstall the Internet browser, reboot PC, and install the browser and the addons all over again.

I see now that Copy Image Location is default part of the Firefox right-click context menu. So you already have it, whether you can find it or not ~ it can be broken.

I guess peter.s's post was inspired by Gorgeous Karnaugh being 70% off on Bits du Jour today. Standard: $21 ($70), or Professional: $45 ($150). http://www.bitsdujou...in=todays-deals-home. I read about it, but didn't understand a word of it.

hm... I didn't even know there could be limitations on Tumblr!

Firefox (Pale Moon):

Or do you meet the limitations in some other contexts?
Please enlighten me, I know nothing about Tumblr.

The well respected charter member is entitled to think whatever thoughts he may want to, but allow me to quote another well respected charter member:

Macecraft has historically been anything but greedy.  Freeware for years, JV16 Power Tools is now a modest $29.95.  Yearly upgrade fees are $6.95.  This is their (pretty damn relaxed) policy on licensing for personal users.  There's no activation or other baggage.

"A single personal license can be used with up to five personal computers at your home if the computers are mainly used only by you or the members of your family."

The point being that some of us believes Jouni Vuorio (author & owner of Macecraft JV16) to be quite okay; you know, "our kind of guy".

I don't know if JV16 will exist tomorrow, but until further notice JV16 is regularly updated.

On another angle, Jouni Vuorio has on more than one occasion acted somewhat "naive".

« Last post by Curt on March 11, 2014, 09:13 AM »
sorry, my first post was too hasty and superficial

-------------

Now I am your camera
when you look at me, I am not looking at me but at you
It may seem that you and I are looking in opposite directions
when you look to the left, I will look to the right
Well, how come I am not looking down, when you are looking up?
- "Strikes me as strange" -
When you are looking to the left, you are not looking to the right
- eh, that sounds stupid to even mention -
but it is the point!
We are not looking in opposite directions,
we are just looking from different positions!
we are both looking at different targets, and from different locations
So it would be more strange, if what we saw, were the same.

may be, but that is how we see you;
when you lift your right hand, I am seeing it to your left
from where I am situated.

That's great news, Curt.  Thanks for letting us know.

I followed diva's recommendation and posted in the forum. They kindly gave the proper address for Magix Support, whom I now have written. Let them first enjoy their week-end and then maybe answer me no later than Tuesday.

Wow; sometimes one really can be lucky! Back in the days when I (felt that I) had been paying and paying an endless amount of money to Magix and Xara, I lost my trust in them  ~ I felt they were conmen.

This time I was pleasantly surprised! Without arguing they offered to donate me a new license key for an international Xara version! Installing "as we speak"

Have to say it isn't clear how the new licensing system will work with old licenses - I hope they don't have to go through the hassle with lifetime licenses of contacting them for new licenses when new versions are released.
Not sure what you mean.

I am not Carol, but.... It is my impression that Carol most likely was talking about the form of the new license...: "Will the next form be the same as the old: ID: 1RK12-A12RK Key: 1ABC-A1A1-1ABC-ABCD , or will I have to contact support to (freely) get my license renewed because the new form is different, say, Key: 1CRK-R1K1-1CRK-R1K1-1CRK-R1K1-1CRK-R1K1-1CRK-R1K1-1CRK-R1K1" ?

------

I actually came to remind what 4wd said: It is important to remember that the current license merely is good for a single pc. I have tested a licensed MBytes on this machine, so I had to purchase a new license, just to be able to test it again for a fair price on my next machine.

Am I wrong about that?  Is today's lifetime license good for 3 PCs?
Current Lifetime license is only good for 1 PC - as shown when purchasing.

The Malwarebytes installer has not been updated for a year (9 April 2013)!!?

Let us be reminded that Magix and Xara are (is) German. The French part is 01Net magazine:

01net - informatique high-tech : actu, produits, téléchargement logiciels et jeux
-01Net

I too forgot this. Luckily I didn't yell at anyone, so my mistake may not have been spotted...

Or, you could always offer it as a quiz prize here on DC.

^no; I have activated the license. Several times I installed international versions and was able to get an English interface, but each time the program then unregistered. So when I said "I couldn't change the user's interface", I should have added "and keep the license active".

C'est la vie!
