One minor weakness, it does not remember after a reboot.

What doesn't survive a reboot?  The pinned shortcut in your taskbar?  If so, it seems to survive for me under Windows 7.     All I did was start the app, right-click its button in the taskbar, and chose "Pin this program to taskbar."   :)

You can also go to "%userprofile%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Chrome Apps" and copy the shortcut somewhere else.

At one place, your site says download the free version- in the other case, it's the free demo.  Is it meant to be a demo?  Or a free version?  And what are the differences?

Applicationize might work for you.  I use it for several webapps that don't have a dedicated desktop version.  About the only thing I really miss is the ability to "close to tray" that most desktop apps have (but that's a very minor niggle).  FWIW, if you're worried about privacy implications, the project and code are on GitHub.  You can also still use the "More tools > Create Shortcut" option in Chrome but I prefer the wholly separate process and window that Applicationize creates.

Thanks for that!  I've been missing it since they took the ability out of chrome to make apps.  On that note, know that this functionality will probably be taken out at some point, and you need to give permissions in Chrome to allow unsigned apps.

I dont know that religion but i respect it and since its something with food ( what i love... :P ) I Welcome it even more  :-*

It's not really a religious holiday as much as an American holiday.

Spoiler
which of course, now is celebrated by those that wiped out the indigenous peoples that they shared their table with... but that's the rest of the story (RIP Paul Harvey)

pCloud is having a sale on lifetime storage.  They say 75%, but I think that's in comparison to the monthly cost.  It's really about 30% off normal lifetime costs.

$122.5 for 500GB or $245 for 2TB.  Comes with a similar amount of download traffic.  I've been happy with it.

I wonder if it's a new(ish) policy to just drop off the package and leave.

I get notifications on my phone from UPS, USPS, and Amazon, whenever a package is delivered. Amazon even sends me a photo of the package sitting in my hallway.

How did you get that set up?

TL;DR - Check out windows update blocker.  It really does work.  The only annoyance I've found is that if you block with an update pending, it will keep warning you about that update.  I just click delay every day on that particular machine.  But Windows really never updates.
1315
Yeah... I got it easily also, and thanks for the notification!  There's a lot of other free books there also.

I get a disproportionate number of packages, and I can say that yes unless it is needed for a signature, in my area, everyone just drops and dashes.

Something legible would be nice. How about black? Or if you must change the color, how about a nice, dark, forest green?

Or just black.  Use Italics, Bold, and Underline for emphasis

That's what I said.

Bold, italics, and underline added for emphasis. :P

Well, I had to add it for emphasis.  ;) :P ;D

That yellow font colour should be illegal.

What color would you suggest?

Dokan is the library that they use to mount your keybase drive to a drive letter.  The secret phrase should have been given to you when you created your password.  It's something so that you can verify that you don't just have the password when you attach.  I believe you can also authenticate by some other machine- It's been a while since I've done it.  You can also generate one by opening a command prompt and typing
Code: Text [Select]
  1. keybase paperkey

Living Room / Re: Is there a way to easily carry earphones for my mobile?
« Last post by wraith808 on November 13, 2018, 08:08 PM »
Duct tape your mobile to your head so you don't need earphones.

I think it would make more sense to duct tape the earphones in your ear.  That way you don't have to worry about carrying them.

Hm, though LogFusion looks like a fine log viewer, I'm afraid it doesn't handle the json-like format that is currently output by ProcessWatcher. We'll have to wait for mouser to choose another format before LogFusion is useful in this context.

Haven't tried it with JSON, but as what's there is only json-like, was waiting until he decided what that format might be in order to test.  Just showing as a suggestion for what I use for log files in general.

Another GUI tool/task would be for filtering/searching the log-data, and that could even be the same tool, AFAICS.

This is what I use for that on my logs: https://www.logfusion.ca/

I think making those options would be a good thing, i.e. where to store, how often to take snapshots, and max size of file.  Also, I think that using a standard type log for this would make it useful, i.e. csv or tab-separated so that the data could be processed easily.  I like where it's  going though.
