Also, do you have any farr plugins loaded that might be responsible? Click the button on the "External Tools and Plugins" options tab?

Or maybe you are testing the FARR portable version so it is clean out of the box...

Can you tell me again exactly what happens and when?

Ok I see some code in FARR that tries to make sure the window fits on screen.. it must be malfunctioning for you (im not sure why only for you).
Let me make this under control of a user option --- that will at least let us disable it for now.

It seems to only run at program start, so that can't be your problem..

that is verrrry odd indeed, especially given that it's the first i've heard of this issue.

what operating system? both machines are laptops with multiple monitors yeah?

I know I asked you this before, but can you try to look at the running-process list (ctrl+alt+del), and see if you spot any utility that could be moving windows around on screen? There are some graphics boards or laptops that come with little window-manager tools that might..

You know that I have remembered a very recent error, that i think i fixed with my most recent update, that someone reported was causing the same "Error on creating PNG".
It was described here: https://www.donation...x.php?topic=45791.25

Essentially it was related to compression level being set to 1.

Can you check that you have downloaded the very latest version, and check that your compression level is not set to 1 or 10 in the File Saving tab.

If you could give that a try.  It won't fix the error per se, but it might stop showing an error box and instead just beep and log an error line to its troubleshooting log.  That would at least be a starting point for me to figure out what's wrong..

If you kill the program from task manager and start it up again.. do the errors start happening immediately?
If you right-click on tray and tell it to take a screenshot now, does the error happen?
I'm trying to get a feel for whether the error is happening on EVERY screenshot, or only at a certain point..

New version uploaded which hopefully fixes the problem; my recent code changes to better handle quoted arguements was stripping quotes when using the explore here option with a custom exe.

Bugreport:
If launched from it's portable directory manually, it finds the settings file properly.
But if I (or in this case ISMONISM) creates a shortcut in the start menu, then when launched from the start menu I think it must be looking elsewhere for its settings file, and it starts with default settings.

You could always try downloading the PORTABLE version and just run that from a new directory to see if the problem happens even with a clean install.

New version is working like a charm  Love it 

It's fun to let it find itself in portable apps directory and make a shortcut to itself.. There is a special pleasure that comes with such things..
