While testing the latest version I came across a very old and weird bug..
When you run the Screenshot Captor installer (or any of my installers), they check if the program is already running, and send it a message to close if it is, and then proceeds with install.
It looks like in some odd circumstances this can cause one of the combo boxes in options to reset to blank state in the options.
This only happens if you changed the combobox setting during the current session the program was running.
I have been unable to figure out exactly why it's happening, but I think it explains the occasional report by a user of a blank setting for one of their options.
The only good way I have found to solve the problem is to update my installer to send a different message to my app to tell it to voluntarily close during the new installation/upgrade.
I've pushed out a new update for Screenshot Captor, and my other apps will all have the new installer code on the next update.

skajfes, can you redownload the new version and see if it fixes it? (i think it should).
The problem was that I recently rewrote my parsing of commandline arguments to respect double quoted arguments and it seems in the process i messed up the handling of multiple arguments (it was sending them in reverse order).  Should be fixed now.

So I've written 3 android narrowly focused intermittent fasting apps of different styles..
And yet I'm interested in exploring more experimental interesting ideas.. If anyone is into this sort of thing and can think of any novel ideas for an app, let me know.

  • [Improvement] Using hotkey to toggle dock now works properly to toggle dock visibility even for floating docks.

I used to have my bar full height of the screen, but I like it a lot better now that its only taking up part of the vertical height:

It would be helpful if there was a guide.. LBC has a definite learning curve to figuring out how to get it set up the way you want it.
Be forewarned that LBC is *not* as pretty as some other launchers.. it is more plain looking with less fancy visuals.
But you can see how some people have set it up here: https://www.donation...ex.php?topic=18759.0

You could try CapsLock.. it seems it already works in farr.. setting it as your hotkey should disable it from its normal operation.. god knows why you would ever want to use CapsLock for typing..

I use the ` key in the upper left of my laptop keyboard.
I've considered adding some function to FARR to let it use CapsLock key..

Can I make this version official? Does anyone else have any feedback about the (default) icon sizes on their 4k monitors, etc.?

Ars Technica reports that routers running the alternative router firmware Tomato are under attack.
It looks like the attack is just looking for default passwords, so as long as you don't have default/weak passwords I think you will be ok.

Internet routers running Tomato are under attack by notorious crime gang.  The Muhstik botnet has targeted other IoT devices. Now it's attacking Tomato routers.

If you're a programmer who hangs out here and you have a patreon account where you are asking people to support your coding, post a link here so those who want to support you can find your account easily.

What you say about trust is also true -- everyone needs to be skeptical and wary of any executable made by someone you haven't built up trust in.  In those cases, having source code goes a long way.
