sometimes it just ends up being like installing an office suite to write a grocery list
Ouch!  :(
Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

(I have some very high quality grocery lists  :) )

I hope potential SnagIt users will check also out my Screenshot Captor tool
Personally, as a long-time Snagit user, I'm on 90% SC now and only 10% Snagit.

I have version 10, but am reluctant to upgrade to 11
Have you noticed how much was taken OUT of v.11?

Congratulations Carol on 6000 most excellent and well-written posts. (With nary a typo to been seen anywhere! Amazing!)
And the other 1000 were...?   ;D

Thanks.

I've had OneNote for years but only recently decided to poke around in it. This is timely for me.

Was this something like you had in mind?
Nice work, and back in under three hours

I'll have some emotional mood swings throughout.
Well, you have chosen a roundabout way of doing things.

Thanks for the tip, 40hz.

It's worth a few bucks simply to play with it for a while...

VueMinder Support Responsiveness

For anyone interested to read far enough in this topic, I'd like to share my experience. Over the past few days I have asked numerous email questions of VueMinder support. The answers to most if not all of these queries were already avaliable somewhere — in the help files, the on-line manuals, or the program itself. Despite this, Dan at VueMinder support has answered every query clearly, patiently, and with alacrity. This is very good support indeed.

Uncanny! It almost exactly reflects everything I know...  :)

Don't you feel better now knowing it wasn't completely blank
It is astonishing that almost nothing could make me feel better.

UAC = Universal Acclaimed Cruelty?
Round here it's viewed as an Unnecessarily Annoying Complication.

I'm going to ask about one caveat.
Having produced a nicely 'day-wrapped' month page I discovered that it's not wrapped when printed out.
I'm hoping that this was due, as usual, to my own ineptitude. We shall see.

Thanks for writing that and pointing us to it.
I utterly detest UAC!

I shall look at it too.  I think re-occuring things on there like a monthly appointment would be good too.
There are grounds for hope at this link, which is very close to what I seek.  ViewMinder Pro text wrapping.
This feature is available only in the paid, Pro version. As long as it does what I want, to me it'll be well worth the cost. The feature will work in the trial version that's available for download, so it's free to find out.

I'll be interested to find out your reaction.
On a quick run through it looks as if it's closer to what I want than others have been. Can wrap text in day 'squares' and set font size per entry if desired.
