I think the idea is to overload the NSA's servers when it detects all these keywords. lol

put the cart in a shallow dish of water, just enough to soak the print heads.-Tinman57 (August 08, 2013, 08:25 PM)
A folded up wet paper towel works well for that also and is much harder to spill.-Stoic Joker (August 08, 2013, 10:57 PM)
we used to have a HP Photosmart all in one, dont remember the model been about 5 to 6 years ago. didn't get used a whole lot but we always had to replace the cartridges (genuine) when we had to use it after sitting idle for 9 to 12 months. i got tired of spending $100 some dollars everytime they wanted to use to print 3 or 4 pages but the excuse was we spent $400 on it. some people will never understand1-techidave (August 07, 2013, 08:04 PM)
"Free speech" doesn't mean that you can't say whatever you want... you can... just as long as we know who you are, where you are, and what you're saying...-Renegade (August 07, 2013, 09:15 PM)
Sorry, libertarians: Bitcoins are currency and can be regulated under U.S. law, says judge

If Bitcoins are the currency of choice for a computerized Wild West, the sheriff in town is trying to impose some order.
Can anyone recommend a lightweight app that can watch one of my folders for changes to the files or sub folders and give me a restore/undo so I can backup to a previous version(s)? Not sure what to call it, and hoping for something minimal (little to no learning curve). I thought of writing a script to just snapshot periodically with WinZip or 7Z, but figured there's probably something a little more integrated out there.
Thanks for any suggests--ottenm (August 07, 2013, 07:03 AM)
Kinda makes you wonder whether it's worth having the hassle of a phone at all anymore.-Renegade (August 07, 2013, 07:23 PM)

Speed of the internet itself is one thing, Speed of a certain website is the other thing :=) you can check the speed of your (or any) website with pingdom tools. It is a very handy tool and offers some nice features. just google it and check it out if you are interested in website speed.

Anti-tracking smartphone pouch is a sign of the times
Are you the type the tapes over the camera on your MacBook? If so, you might also want to store your iPhone in a radio-free pouch when it's not in use. Big brother is watching.

To my understanding, the US does not use diesel engines that much. That always struck me as strange, because families in the US live quite often far apart and diesel would cut the fuel bill significantly when it is time to visit.-Shades (August 03, 2013, 09:16 PM)
It is illegal in the US to have/produce/whatever fuel-efficient automotive engines. So, just throw out all logic and reason... it is what it is.
(Anyone remember the Volkswagen example? European versions of the exact same model have far higher fuel efficiency, etc.)-Renegade (August 03, 2013, 09:50 PM)
