Bravo Mr. Mouser, that did the trick!  Interestingly, when I check both boxes only the first clip showed up in the favorites menu.  I assumed it just wasn't saving my 2nd selected clip so I exited and re-started CHS and then both showed up.  Problem solved.  Thanks again for the quick responses/solution! - jpar5

That field is not blank (see screenshot once enabled).  Other things?  Thanks Mouser.

I have a couple of favorite clips defined.  When I try to access them from the tray menu, I see nothing but a blank entry.  Any idea what is going on?  Thanks.

I'd like to insert (paste) the current date and time as easily as possible, because I want to do it often.  Right now, the only way I see to do this is by hitting "Ctrl + Alt + Q" to bring up the quick paste menu, then hitting "R" for date and time text clips, and then hitting the number of the clip I want to paste.  Is there an easier way, like assigning this to a key or key combo that isn't currently used on my system?  Thanks.

J.

The problem was that it would not login automatically and therefore would not start (it does start automatically once you login).  I had forgotten about TweakUI - great idea!!!  That will definately solve my problem.  Thanks for ringing my bell a little.  In the words of Homer - Doh!!

Couple of questions/suggestions for something new.  Do you know of any software that will do the following:

1.  Monitor a file that is periodically growing in size, and notify the user when it reaches a certain size?  I archive email to .pst files and need to know when they are approching the size of a CD so I can burn it and delete it from my hard drive.  Thoughts?

2.  Monitor an application or internal web address to make sure it is active, and report to the user if it is not?  I have a video surveillance piece of software running on a remote PC with a web interface to it (or I can remote desktop into the machine).  I need to make sure the surveillance software is running.  The software won't run as a service (as far as I know), so if the machine reboots due to power outage, etc. it can be days before I realize the system hasn't launched the software and hasn't been recording.  Thoughts?

Thanks!
