General Software Discussion / IDEA: Removing comments from bookmarks
« on: October 25, 2016, 06:38 AM »
https://www.donation....msg403443#msg403443

Have been searching for a tool to remove all comments from bookmarks. Have a lot of them and many have quite an amount of comment. I use my bookmarks with a filename that covers it. Is there any tool that can remove all depscriptions/comments from all my bookmarks (palemoon/firefox)? I checked Linkman and Linkstash but couldn't find it in there.

4wd suggested regex,Curt pointed me at the idea thread, thank you. I like the to_the_point coding that does exactly what's needed. Would/could anyone write (ahk?) a small tool that could remove all comments from the bookmarks, either from Palemoon/Firefox or from the json or html backup? Or maybe there *is* a tool out there that I overlooked...

thanks for your attention
Anda

General Software Discussion / question about audio
« on: November 17, 2015, 02:40 PM »
New here,hi  :)

Still looking around and trying things out. Great community. But I do have a question about some shareware audio software
that I have registered quite some time ago.

It is called 'chevolume' and it works great but is a bit buggy sometimes. So I wanted to ask him about fixing these bugs but I
got no answer at all (since many months). You can still register and pay for it,just the owner is unavailable./unreachable.
Don't know if it will be continued...

Anyone know if a similar tool is available somewhere?

 ;)
Ria
