 :tellme: Just a question : it is normal that Winrar latest version cannot open zip files when they are AES 128+ protected.  I thought Winrar was using also AES ?

Recent WinRAR uses AES instead of their old custom routine, yes - but AES in .zip is an extension to the zip format, which WinRAR might not support yet.

As some other people already said,there are much better free alternatives available.... I'm a bit surprised that the excellent freeware Izarc isn't mentioned yet...it kicks the *ss of that 50$ beast WinZip  :)
