You may have noticed that I've been largely absent without leave from the DonationCoder forum for several months now. As some of you know I've been working on a new project, a YouTube channel with a good friend of mine.

It's a channel where we will be playing and discussing cooperative board games, aptly named "CO-OP FOR TWO".

Finally after several months of filming and editing, it's just gone live today:

I'm nervous, excited, and proud that it turned out the way it did. The episodes are long, often rambling, and will *NOT* be bearable to watch by most people. (HA!)
But I feel like they are their own honest thing, and might be appealing to a tiny tiny sliver of people who want to pass the time with some company, and just listen to friends talk in the background.

That looks great! A friend and I tried to do something similar for video games, but haven't gotten it down yet. I love how you have the playthrough and review videos separated. A suggestion to possibly grab some of those people that just value your opinions, you have a TL;DR section at the beginning of the review videos.

Great job mouser - video, audio, the conversations!

Co-op games is a good niche to cover. I see that your videos already appear on some game pages on Board Game Geek,e.g. https://boardgamegee...-missions/videos/all , which I think is a good way for people to find you. What's the process for getting listed there - do you add each manually there or does BGG find and add them automatically?

I added each one manually on bgg. One advantage of having a single website that dominates the board game scene is that you know where your potential audience is.
Hopefully people will discover us there.

I've been doing (solo) livestreams every weekend around midnight (US time). They are much less entertaining than the videos with my co-host, but they may provide a service in helping insomniacs fall asleep. The last one was 6.5 hours long.

Works for me. The medication they've got me on doesn’t help much when it comes to getting a good night’s sleep.

We're still going strong. I'm still not quite sure WHY I'm working on this project, but I figure I'll keep working on it through 2021 and then figure out why..
