Never thought of The Melon Ball as girly but more of a party-starter.

Case in point:

First company picnic... food, soda, beer, electronic-darts... basically boring.
Following year picnic... food, soda, beer, 2-gals of melon balls, wet t-shirt contest, topless dancing (male and female), happy people...

ingredients:  1-part vodka, 2-parts Midori melon liqueur, OJ, ice.
