Help interfacing with other programs.
« on: December 29, 2007, 08:51 PM »
i quote from the help

Unsurpassed support for 3rd party user configurable tools, including file browsers and image editors; extend the program to do whatever you need b interfacing it with other programs.

As Graphic Editor i use Gimp and i would like have a screenshoot for each action of gimp,

any time something is done in gimp, everything  as a click om a menu, on icon, or whatever, a screenshoot is taken

Is it possible a similar interfacing ..?
i looked in the help for more but  i didn't noticed anything else related to the quote

EDIT
Ooops... i find now the related help pages, i just start reading
anyway any suggestion is still welcome  :)

SC is a fantastic tool, but I'd rather eat ground glass than use it for screen recording rather than one off shots.  ;)

If you're happy to record as continuous video (so you can then go back and take individual shots manually) there are a few free options such as CamStudio.

But if you want an individual screenshot each time the screen or window changes, you should be looking at Captivate.

thank for the suggestion,  about captivate is too pricey

camcorder seems interesting i had already a look time ago

i had same problem with camcorder... no idea how to synchronize with gimp to have caption, or video recording done only when actions are performed,  for that i could not find clue
