Hi folks! It’s been awhile since I’ve posted. Normally this should be in the non-windows sub board. But that section seems to be pretty dead and this is major enough that Linux users should want to be aware of this announcement which has major implications for both Linux software developers and future security concerns. In terms of codebase security this is a change in repository policy that’s long been overdue. And now that Debian has bit the bullet I’m guessing most if not all of the major distros will eventually have to follow suit.
