Post New Requests Here / Re: Switch to window while alt tabbing
« Last post by Coeluh on November 23, 2009, 06:36 AM »
If you can live without the icons try Alt-Esc for cycling between applications (and Alt-Shift-Esc for cycling backward).

(Sorry for mentioning this, but I know from my experience that people are often completely amazed with this "unknown" shortcut, built in Windows for ages.)
Dont feel sorry, I did not know about this. Thanks!
btw I also saw this somewhere on the webs, how do you access this:

Coeluh, do you mean this:-
as each icon is shown in the alt+tab dialogue, the corresponding window will show (in front) on screen ?

Exactly. Maybe reposition the alt-tab window to the top of the screen if possible, so you can cleary see the screen...

Wouldn't it be useful while alt tabbing that the corresponding window is switched to? In that case you can more easily switch to the window you want, right?

Finished Programs / DONE: Disable Rightclick
« Last post by Coeluh on October 26, 2009, 09:14 AM »
I want to use my laptop for a presentation and allowing people to use my mouse to navigate through screens. Although, I want to temporarliy disable the right click of my mouse. Is it hard to disable it? Also, I would like it if the left mouse button will be disabled after every click for 10 seconds.

Unfortunately I don't have the source code to this anymore... And no, it's not photoshopped.. why would you think that?  :P
Because all the buttons look pretty much like generated in Photoshop bevel and embos default settings...

Post New Requests Here / IDEA: Small HTML color swatch
« Last post by Coeluh on August 25, 2009, 10:55 AM »
Hi there,

I wonder if there is an app which alows me to pick some colors, display them in a table, each 20x20 pixels, and when I click it I get the code copied (like #717171). When you click an empty one, you can pick one in a color panel, or add one manually. This app should have with 2 rows of each 10 spots for a color. Always on top function aswel.

You got these 1-900-INEEDCASH phonenumbers. But I wonder what combo's are possible at my own mobile number? Or home number. I want software where you enter a sewuence of numbers, and then it will look in a word list for words.

Is that hard to do? I would think of this as a webservice, but software would be fine.

have you tried ZBar? this freeware adds a taskbar on the second monitor, with an optional clock.
 (see attachment in previous post)
Yeah thats fine but it doesn't support my skin (Royale, media center). I emailed the creator though, asking him for it to implement

good move, the author is quite responsive too..
Haven't had a reply yet, and also zbar is interfering with 3RVX OSD Volume

Ok popping up again:
I do not like rainmeter as it freaks out when I access my pc from my laptop. All I just need is a white text font size 10 font trebuchet, anti-aliasing enabled which floats always on top and remembers position on startup. Thats all. AHK is great.

Mmm, I do not like the windows key as it is being used by other programs I'm running.

try it out - see do you have problems with those programmes - I use windows key for lots of programmes but always with a qualifier key and havent had any problems with this script
-
otherwise post request in that thread or do a bit of research yourself and try changing the key in the script (read that thread though - original key was control, I tried changing that but was unsuccesfull)
No i've something that comes up after holding the windows key for five secs.

Find And Run Robot / Re: How to make a web search in FARR
« Last post by Coeluh on July 19, 2009, 02:54 PM »
here is the search query to get you started, just substitute the search_string with your own search query.

http://www.thetvdb.c...n=Search&string=search_string
I figured that.

you've got several choices.

first let me ask, do you want the html page with results to show up inside the farr window or do you want the page launched in your browser?
Inside farr would be awesome, but in browser is fine..

It's about when you have your left mousebutton down, while holding shift. It will either move over the x axis or the y axis, it picks the closets one... This is doable right? Name: Axisnap

I want to create a websearch for thetvdb.com. How do I create a correct alias for this?
22
Edit: I did not needed it untill now, I drag 6 folders on it and it says suctioned 0 files... weird.

the linked page also mentions Skrommel's DelEmpty. :)
 (see attachment in previous post)
:)

Remove empty folders and folder not larges than a specified limit, in a folder specified by a user. Not that hard I guess?
http://www.jonasjohn.de/lab/red.htm has no file size limit, that sucks.

« Last post by Coeluh on July 03, 2009, 07:37 AM »
Skrommel's HideDesktop looks a good bet for this task..

HideDesktop - Only show the desktop icons when the mouse is on the desktop.
Almost, but it hides the complete desktop. I have some rainmeter shizzle on my desktop which I do want to view.
