General Software Discussion / how can I convert swf files to avi?
« Last post by cdblu on July 16, 2007, 03:07 AM »
i found this rather strange that some swf video (particularly ones created with camtasia screencast) that i view will use extraordinarily large amount of memory as it's playing..

an example of such problem: when i view dragdroprobot2 video in this page using "barebone" firefox
https://www.donation...agDrop/DragDrop.html

i was shocked to see in taskmanager that firefox memory usage almost hit 300mb as the video is playing in the browser..what is wrong?

is there any tool to convert the swf flash video to avi so i can view it in avi video instead? i want to watch the remaining part of the video where i had to end task at that point

imho, safarp isn't bad at all though it lacks few handy and must have options like jumping to registry uninstall key, explore installed programs folder and ability to launch windows components wizard..but since the program is open source, i hope someone here will download its source and add those ideas to the program..

hi mouser! thanks for this great program..can you please add xp visual styles support in the program..would be nice if the program showing xp styles..it looks much better imho..i know this definately isnt on your priority for the program, but i personaly think that not having xp styles support in a program that is made to run xp makes it doesnt "complete"..thanks anyway for all your effort for making this handy program. it helps alot!

p.s: can you do the same for all other programs you write?

registry workshop..worth trying..not freeware though..i've been using it for few months now..among notable features it has..undo history, registry backup and restore, export values or keys or both, command line support, bookmarks, favourite, compare registry, multiple local registry window, edit registry file etc.
