Another workaround might be indexing the folder structure first using the free tool Snap2HTML

First, download Editpad 3 (portable). It is a text editor, but look closely in the folder for the program ''minipath.exe.''

The problem is that the format is totally different and some categories are not included.
e.g. Bookmarks Online in the 2nd column.

Have you tried playing a bit with the font size settings? See if that changes anything?

One thing lacking in Papaly (and many tools) is a good feedback and discussion and improvement method (e.g. uservoice).  Maybe such a page should be connected to the Papaly et al. page.  Any suggestions as to how?

Also a minor lack is (unless I missed it) the ability to load all the urls in a category at one time. I use that in Firefox bookmarks a lot.

Both your wishes can be found in the Papaly- but they are easy to miss or difficult to find in some cases. I'll try to explain. When sharing a papaly board, you can't find the options when viewing your page through that particular given share board url. Doesn't matter if you are the editor or a visitor. But let's try it this way (Using the world's top 500 website board as example):



Leave the shared-board view by  clicking the menu upper right corner and choose 'home.' When you get there scroll down a bit and find the World's top 500 board again in your list. Click on it to open it again, and you'll notice that the view is a little bit different than when we check de page through the shared url. In my case, it has another theming layout. But more important, it also shows more options now if you look close.





When hovering the mouse cursor on category top there is now a extra edit menu visible. From this tiny menu you can use the 'open all url's at once option that you pointed out as option on your wishlist 

It's still something that can be extended for even better feedback experience- but there is already an option to leave comments hidden right about (see screens below) here:

Over the years, I noticed that I repeatedly did lots of "Explorer" kinds of things, but kept starting and stopping a collection of programs in order to "get the job done".

DC Gamer Club / Gems of War (match-3 v2.0++)

Let me start by saying: I am not really a gamer kind of guy. Meh, I might done some Warcraft II ages ago and Duke Nukem 3D. But the main reason for that was probably that there wasn't much else out there yet on the internet. I remember instead of playing Duke3d I soon started experimenting with the Build-engine and end up building a descent looking level myself (sadly data got lost somewhere along the way). But that's not what this topic's about.



I'd like to point out one game that even got me- the non gamer- addicted; Gems of War.!
It's basicly a match-3 game like the more known bejeweled series. But, the game developers added an interesting set of gaming experience. They combined the match-3 genre with battle-elements and even build a comprehensive RPG-styled part around it, making it the most original strategical experience I've seen so far (within the puzzle genre though).

You play by making moves trying to combine as much gems of the same kind like you do in Bejeweled. Only, this time the computer is a active component. You play on turns. Combine 4 gems or more and you get an extra turn. Both computer and player play with 4 troops (here the magic-the-gathering card collecting comes in..). Every troop has special skills and before you know it there's some epic jewel battling going on- and I must warn you, this works extremely addctive. Extra team elements like Guilds you join to battle amongst others enlarge the whole experience even more.

The game is free to play, you can download it from the Steam Library. But in game you can spend real money to extend your playing experience on various ways. However, it isn't needed to experience the game in full effect. It does become very tempting and yes, even the non-gamer actually has spend real life money over time. Looking at this from a game developers perspective, the model of earning money this way is extremely smart. Because, I would have never spend the ammount of money on buying a game, than the ammount I've spend on it in total over the year. I am not telling how much because I simply don't want to confront myself with the up to date totals... 



But they earn some credit. Really. The community part is also great, developers listen to their players ...

My first thought on this is more like: let's find where the error messages come from all the time- like, LOL. Doesn't do any good
for this purpose... right.? 

I can see some benefit for the other goals, like in more-advanced modus to handle free bitcoin every 5 minutes faucets. Just a thought

Also have this ... well, awesome bookmark tool to add. But you might not like the looks of it. Personally I like the oldskool approach Linkli's using, but maybe .. that particular detail make this tool awesome for some, and awfull for others. Let's try anyway. Adding links works the bookmarklet way (see previous reply's). They provide an easy ready to use button you only have to drag to where you like it to be. Now whenever you find a website interesting enough to bookmark just press the button- select a subcategory (optional) and hit it. Like most of the bookmark services work, only.. this one works blazing fast, you can almost feel it.

As an simple yet powerfull extension could be considered using on various platforms. Like for instance... When bookmarkletting a bit on the Papaly  site, it can easily create beautiful (html) listings/overview and so on...







I've used the 'Grablinks bookmarklet' but there are tons of other variations and you can build an more personized one
without to much hassle..

Yeah I misunderstood the meaning of collaborative there, but I've been digging a bit deeper meanwhile in how it could
work in collab-way by using tags.. and I find it very interesting so far. Going to build a package of keywords/tags and
will try some other tools as well to see how that works out. But thats more an secondary path- I don't think such system
would work when sending out newslettes.[/color]

Is it also possible like, using #filecontents to quickly browse throug lists of your favorite websites, favorited mp3's etc. ?
